Casual dining with upscale food. We had not been to the Stoney Knob Cafe in several years, and we were pleasantly surprised to... see the vast improvement since then. Our friends made an early reservation for 5:00 and we were glad they did. It didn?t takelong for the crowd to come in. We were greeted by Rachel, our waitress, who was extremely professional. We ordered wine and beerwhile we waited for our friends to arrive, and they ordered wine as we perused the menu. My wife ordered the chicken pot pie,and I ordered the Good Girl pasta, which was loaded with shrimp. Both were delicious. Our friends had Caesar salads and orderedthe scallops & pork belly, and the Greek style lamb shank. All of our meals were well prepared and delicious. There was a littleroom left for dessert, so we split the key lime pie and they split the coconut cream pie. A perfect ending for a wonderfuldinner. If you are looking for something special and don?t want to fight the crowds in Asheville, drive towards Weaverville andstay at the Stoney Knob Cafe! Read more

Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Food was excellent. Staff was friendly and kind. A definitely unique experience. Whimsical... Greek atmosphere. I hear dinner is busy so went for lunch and was not disappointed. Read more

Husband and I loved this place. We had the gnudi and duck spring rolls for apps, deep dish pizza and seafood risotto special... and for dessert a key lime pie and baklava ice cream cake. Everything was delicious and I especially loved the cucumber basilmartini. Read more
