Food average, service good, and atmosphere good. We started with the Loaded Pollo Bullets. Wife, mom in law, and my daughter... said theyiked them. I think they were a good idea, had good flavor, but the chicken was very dry. For dinner: I had thecrawfish, 5 lbs for $25. I liked it but I prefer to have more of the flavor on the inside rather than the outside. The shrimpand grits was good but had better. The fish tacos were just fish and sauce (see last picture). My daughter didn't enjoy them.The fried shrimp was really good. I had the ranch water spicy, was good but again, had better. Wife had a lemon drop and saidit was good. Daughter had the South TX Jazz and said it was really good. Mom in law had one of the Rita's, can't remember which,and liked it. The waitress was really good, food came out pretty quick, buth the drinks took a little longer then they shouldhave. Overall, not a bad place to eat. There are better Cajun places though. Read more
We arrived before 8:30pm and were told there was a 30 minute wait because there was only 2 servers available since the rest were... sent home. The restaurant closes at 10pm. If I was the owner I would have been pretty upset at how much business I lost tonight. There were many people who walked away because of the wait. We decided to wait at the bar while our table was ready. Theservice at the bar was horrible. She did not want to be bothered with us. I had to basically force our drink order on her.Thank God our table finally became available and our server Juan was amazing. He took really good care of us. The food was good.The fried shrimp was dry. We wanted to order another drink but we were told the bar was closed. It was 10:10. I don't think wewill be back. We always stop at BB's Tex-Orleans when we are in Webster. The food is always delicious and hot. The food is a cross between... Texas and New Orleans style food. There is quite often a wait to be seated, so if you have a large party, you might want tocall ahead. Their wait system will text you on your phone when you table is ready. We sat outside on the patio this time andhad a very pleasant meal. I can't wait to go back and try the food again. Read more

4/16/22 7:30pm, this is not the BBs I know, ordered 5lbs class crawfish, veggies, pineapple link, mushrooms, 1lb. Shrimp,... ordered pineapple slices(ran out so got 2corn 3 potoates)paid over $100 for pick up, just to get over cookedcrawfish(pre-heated) i ate 10 crawfish and was done...BBs in Webster please do better Read more
After a beautiful walk by the lake with my gf we were craving catfish and looked for a place with the best reviews. I told her... that you couldn?t go wrong picking a New Orleans place! We were seated and attended to pretty quickly & they brought out oursprite with a smile! It was like McDonald?s sprite, good and deadly but so delicious and refreshing. The first thing that caughtmy eyes on the menu was how confusing it was. I didn?t know what was happening. Then I saw a boudin flautas and i wasimmediately fascinated by how truly unique this menu was. Only one of its kind out there I?m sure! We ended up ordering catfishand shrimp with some red bean and rice. Again you can?t go wrong with this order. But I was wrong. I was so wrong. The red beanand rice was so horrible at the first bite that I had to take a second bite to make sure I wasn?t being deceived. I?m prettysure I was eating canned chilli with rice. The shrimp was sad. The hush puppies and jalapeño garlic toast was so disgusting Iwas just baffled by our meal. I couldn?t believe what I was eating. You can?t go wrong with the classics! You just can?t? butthey did. They found a way. The waiter came around asking if every was okay and I know he could see the pain in my eyes as my gfpatted my back trying to comfort me. The fries were so old I?m pretty sure it was microwaved. I was starving and hate returningfood mostly from anxiety that my new food would get spat in so ate as much as I could of the red beans and rice in tears. Thecat fish & the sprite is the reason I?m giving ?tis review a 2 star. A star for each because they are the reason I didn?t gohome hungry. I was very disappointed and I honestly do not recommend the red beans and rice or anything with their bread. I havenever been so disappointed by a meal in my life. This experience have scarred me.
