First time trying a Pappas brand BBQ place and this place hit out of this world! We had the fried green tomatoes with goat... cheese, fully loaded tater, buttermilk fried chicken, and of course smoked prime brisket, pork belly, and turkey. Staff wasattentive and amazing! Read more
The staff were good. I'm not sure about the meat parts but the butter mashed potato was the best of all. The pork belly was a... bit dry but I liked the fatty part of it. The brisket was a little tender and I had to put more sauce that was given to addflavor. I'm used to having that salt and pepper taste because this one was bland. The Mac and cheese was okay. The staff here were friendly. The food was taking a little long to come but what I like is that our waiter & manager came to our... table to remind us that food will be coming and apologized for the delay. The food we order was very delicious with the mixdrink we order was on point also. This place looks great too so people can take pictures of this location. Pork ribs are excellent. Brisket will melt in your mouth. Pork and beans are different but have awesome flavor. The cream corn... pudding is great as well. The deviled eggs and the queso are excellent as well. Cant go wrong with any of the food. Arrived andwas told had a 45 minute wait. Decided to sit at bar and order instead of waiting. The ladies at the bar were awesome. Nevermissed a beat. When it slowed down they just kept on going. If you plan on going for dinner I would call ahead and see if canmake a reservation. Went here last night with my daughter and we loved it. Ordered the prime brisket combo with beef sausage. My daughter ordered... the prime brisket kids. It was moist and delicious. The mud slide cake was amazing with the marshmallow. Only negative I orderedto go for my mom and noticed they didn't give me the coleslaw with my brisket sandwich and ruined the whole sandwich because shereally wanted something to cut the richness. Finally tried this place out and now I can't wait to go back. Had their hot fried chicken which was juicy and sweet. Surprisingly good! By surprisingly I mean that the Brisket was perfect, and the boudin was legit. The sausage was a fine grind,... which isn't my favorite, but that's just preference.
