Decided to stop in for a dinner last night and service was pretty slow. Now, it is graduation time so I can understand as the... restaurant was pretty full. Waiter was very attentive and courteous. Food, I had the Pat's Ribeye and was pretty disappointed asit lacked in flavor. Tasted just like another piece of read meat. I will say however that the sides - broccoli and rice werevery tasty as well as the appetizers - fried mushrooms and loaded fries. Overall experience was ok though steaks need to beseasoned. This the third Saltgrass I have visited. I thought the food was not as good as the previous 2.I would eat there again. The young... man that was our server was very good. I think he might need a hearing aid but it was crowded and a little noisy. Ok so this was my first time here. Everyone I know says how good it is. Witch don't get me wrong the food was awesome.. BUT my... waiter..???? This is how it went, Can I get you drinks . Sure so we order she brings the drinks I ask can we please have bread,sure .. so we wait and wait and wait then my husband grows impatient and asked a younger man passing by he says sure.. So wewait and wait and wait.. then the manager walks by and my friend asked him sir can we please have some bread.. He says sure I'llget that right now .. Remember this whole time our waiter is MIA. So then another person drops off our food and I ask again canwe please get some bread with our dinner please he said ok let me take this order then I will get it. Not a problem so we waitsome more after we are Done eating the waiter pops up and not to ask if we wanted refills for the first time. Busy night so had to sit at the bar for immediate seating with no reservation. Bar staff was nice but pretty busy keeping up.... First half or 3/4 of the experience was great. After that apparently there was a large influx of drink orders and we wentignored for quite some time. Had a chore of a time closing out… probably had a time period of 20 minutes+ with no drinks orfood in front of us and we just wanted to leave. Manager came behind the bar but only assisted with drinks, not bar patrons.Could have been handled better. Read more
