We made it to Balkan Treat box. First thing that we saw was a huge line and we were considering leaving. But the line moved... quickly and we decided to give it a try. Very well organized establishment where with huge demand they are handling it verywell. The food is simply delicious and available for both vegan and vegetarian. For those who do like meat nearest mini mechoices as well. While main choices are limited to 8 dishes, they?re all Must try. Plenty of parking in the back, pick upavailable and had two restrooms. Oh my goodness... the food was absolutely delicious and the service was outstanding! I was stationed in Turkey for 2 years and... fell in love with the food and people. Moved to Illinois almost 14 years ago and haven't been able to find really food Turkishfood. This place is it! Took me back to Turkey!! I will definitely be back. We drove 30 minutes out of our way on a 17 hour road trip to try this place and it was WELL WORTH IT. I had never had Balkan... food before but I am sold. If you?re wondering what it?s like because you want to try it for the first time - it?s super freshand reminds me a lot of a gyro. Definitely worth the drive. Everyone should try this place. The restaurant itself seems to be popular because there... was a large line when we arrived there; but the staff are very efficient in accommodating the customers.
