Been a dozen times and it's regularly a good experience. Good food and good draft beer selection. The building itself has an old... worldy charm with the high, vaulted ceiling and exposed woodwork. The vibe is much more down to earth than other Websterjoints. Service isn't stellar, but good enough. Feels like servers appear a little less than average here. Do not normallyhave issue with parking, but its very limited around here and unclear if you can park in other buildings lots. Read more
Nice atmosphere, very family friendly. Good food, good service, great portions. I had the fish and chips, the cuts were very... thick and generous. The home made tarter sauce was great. The prices were right. It's a pub, so it's loud and lively. Read more
Attended a luncheon there. They handled it well. The food & service were great! Chicken salad sandwich was perfect.
Ate lunch here after a spa day at the spa nextdoor. I noticed this as we drove by to get to the spa and was interested... immediately. I was already thinking about fish and chips for lunch as soon as I saw it. I convinced my husband that we had to gobecause of course fish and chips. We got done at the spa a little after typical lunch rush, but walked over anyway. It waspretty empty with maybe 3 other parties, but we sat down near the bar and were served by the bartender. I'll say a little abouthim now. My first opinion of him was that he reminded me of the character Chris Farley played in Tommy Boy but even with all theunintentional slap stick, I really enjoyed him. He seemed super genuine and waited on us well. I already knew I wanted Fish andChips, but I also happened to be National Pretzel day and I decided to get the pretzels and cheese as well. My husband alsoordered fish and chips and when we were ask what side homemade chips or fries I ask the bartender what he prefers. He said friesand recommended that one of us got the steak fries and one get shoe string. So that's what we did. The pretzels were delicious.Perfectly soft and that cheese! Yum! There were definitely not enough pretzels for that amazing cheese so we dipped our fries init and ask for another cup! Fish and Chips was very good. You could tell it was hand battered and it was light and flakey. Thebatter was crispy and had good flavor. But the star was the Tarter sauce. It reminded me of Tarter from London with a dillflavor. I loved it. I also preferred the steak fries and am glad we were recommended to try both. And if course the cheese wasgreat on the fries. We also got to take home a plastic cup which I'm a sucker for. I really think that this place would bereally fun to get dinner at and stay for drinks. I loved the "pub" look and feel. And I think it would attract a fun crowd. Allin all I would love to go back if I'm ever in MO again. It was clean, charming and had great good. Read more
To be honest, the pub burger has no right to say it?s ?award winning? on the menu. If you?re going by those standards, the... burger was a complete disappointment. If you?re going by normal restaurant burger standards, it was a decent bite, except forthe dry muffin. The side of Mac n? Cheese had a pretty good white cheese sauce on it, but I enjoyed the few fries that mycompanion shared with me a little better. I will have to give a shout out that they made us a very good Bloody Mary, probablythe best I?d had! The last note is the appetizer, we had fried pickles which were delicious! However 12 dollars is a bit steepeven for how good they were. Overall it was a solid experience, would probably come again but not get the burger. Read more
Great place for friends or family night out. Food and apps are great, they have many brews on tap from local and surrounding... state breweries. I have been here several times over the past few weeks and I get they are understaffed but it took over an hourhour to get my check after I was finished eating otherwise it is great! Read more
Very very nice bar & restaurant in the suburb of Webster Groves. Parking lots, outdoor seating, handicapped accessible. Gorgeous... interior with lovely woodwork & interior design. Hosted bridal shower for daughter with 30 guests in separate room with bar.Reasonable prices. Good food choices & bar options. Planning as well as service the day of was excellent. Rented the pub room for a karaoke party and it was a top notch experience! Highly recommend! Melissa the events coordinator was... super responsive and so helpful. Answered emails promptly. Paperwork was done and signed quickly and she was helpful withselecting food and bar options. We were able to check out the space the week before the party to make sure our karaoke set upwould work. Arrived 1 hour before party and Melissa has 2 staff there ready to help us set everything up. The food was ready andour two bartenders Kelsey and Samson were amazing. The party was a hit and everyone ate and drank and sang their hearts out. Icould not be happier. We will DEF be back next year! Thank you Melissa and crew! Read more
