Racanelli's Webster Groves Mo did a great job with a last minute group lunch order. Didn't know the Rac's by me closed recently.... They got 4 XLarge pizzas, awesome $30 Pop's catering size salad and 20 drinks together in 40 minutes for me. Saved me. Allpizzas were warm, salad and drinks were cold. Everything was delicious. Went to this location and was not initially greeted until the guy making the pizzas could see my frustration and told me someone... would be with me shortly. I was then told there were no single slices of any pizza multiple times and was instead offered a 14inch. I advised her I was just looking to feed my toddler so a single slice is all I would need. Magically she said that shecould go ahead and give me a slice. I then realize the kids in the back are those of employees as one walked behind the counter.I understand with a pandemic childcare can be challenging but this was not ok. These kids were on the floor playing and thenback with the food. I also feel that as other people came in the women sitting then got up to greet/help these people(possiblyregulars). They were white males so I then began to feel not as welcomed as nobody got up to help me(black female) like theseother two men who came in. By far the best New York style pizza in St. Louis! Slices are huge and extremely delicious. I actually went to the Webster... Groves location twice today because I love it so much. Staff is very nice and they have an expansive menu; plenty of options. I highly recommend it. Great prices too! Read more

I am a St. Louis style pizza fundamentalist, so New York style pizza is not really my jive. However, my wife loves it and this... is her favorite in town. Pizza is hot and greasy, just like you would expect with NY style. We got a salad this last time and itwas way too big for two, be forewarned. Service is solid and the venue is open and clean. On the plus side, it?s cheap. On the negative side, it?s not very good. The wait for a single slice of cheese pizza is too long... and the pizza itself is too greasy. I?ve been to NYC a lot and this didn?t quite measure up to a typical dollar slice you?d findon just about any street there. If you come here, try a calzone instead. Read more
