Love this place. Delicious food and drink. Very cute, good to sit at where you don't feel jammed up against everyone, lots of... outdoor seating too (and they sometimes have live music or other events). Well-decorated. My girlfriend and I frequent this establishment and always enjoy our time here. We are so grateful to find an establishments... that values local music, art, and community. I’m new to Webster Groves and have been driving by and wanting to visit this cafe. My family stopped in for breakfast and... coffee this morning and loved the vibe. The coffee and pastries were delicious. The workers at the counter were very kind andpleasant. However, we observed several interactions with one employee (apparently the owner) and other customers. She was veryrude! When we got up to leave we assumed they cleaned the tables off (first timers here). From where we were sitting we saw noplace to put dishes. While we were getting into the car- another new customer came up to us and told us that the owner said “well I guess those people are too good to bus their own tables”. This was also her first time at the cafe and she informed usthat after that interaction she will never be back. You have a cute shop with a great vibe, but YOU, ma’am, sucked all thegood energy out of it!! So sad! As a owner you should be making your guests feel welcome. After reading some of the comments onhere, it’s clear that this has been an ongoing issue with you. I think you need to work on your customer service skills. Read more

This review only reflects the interaction I had with a person who seemed to be the owner. Friends and I were meeting here, she... was rushing around cleaning, being short with her only employee working. She frustratedly walks over to our table and says,“Folks we’re closed.” My friends and we’re we’re very apologetic, we were lost in conversation. She gave us no tenminute warning, wasn’t kind when she told us she was closing. It felt like we were bugging her, but she hadn’t warned us itwas close to time. The employee behind the counter was excellent though. If I ever come back it’ll be because someone waskind, and not annoyed with me. For the record, I don’t care that your reviews are overwhelmingly positive. You deserve thenegative reviews because you’re unkind to people. You deserve bad yelp reviews if you’re a rude to customers. Bad yelpreviews reflect the fact that either someone is petty, or you’ve done something poorly. edit again: hey lady, I think it wasyou in the room who was rude to my party. Loved this place. Very unique in its style and decor, and both the food and drinks were delicious. Lots of outdoor seating and... there was live music playing at lunchtime today.
