For those who might know a bit about NJ Italian Food... The Chicken Française at That's Amore is cooked just so that it... reminded me of the tender and well marinated Italian chicken dishes that I used to enjoy in northern NJ. To top it off, theyhave an assortment of cocktails and wine and have homemade Tiramisu made to perfection. In addition, the staff was friendly andattentive which made for a very pleasant experience. First time here. New in town. Small appetizers portion for the calamari and the lettuce didn't help. Aringin(sp?) Rice Ball, as... an appetizers came out as one big ball, maybe smaller ones easier to share? Fettuccine bolognese was good, sauce was watery.Chicken ravioli was good, spinach may have been overcooked slightly.. couple other dished looked good.. overall for the pricecould've been better.. was good but not great.. will try again later. Spicy calamari (special) was tasty, and both the chicken Alfredo ravioli and lobster ravioli were good. Very filling portions.... The Alfredo tastes a lil salty towards the end but I?d come back to try more dishes. Read more
The picture is of a bacon wrapped scallop dish served with a peach cream liqueur sauce. We had a custom pizza with fresh... mozzarella, basil, pepperoni and their red sauce. It was so good we are ordered a second one so that we could bring some home. Mary grace was our server and she was awesome! Love this place. Read more
Overall decent. We ordered the crab mushroom appetizer which was very good. The lobster ravioli, pizza and chicken dish was ok.... The fettuccine Alfredo was the best pasta we tried. The food overall is a bit bland and under flavored. Tasted like the saucecame out of a can. Read more
If you want to taste a great Italian food and save money on ticket to Italy, you must go to That?s Amore restaurant! One of the... best risotto in my life and Amor Pizza was great too! Good portions of very fresh seafood from the ocean and real tastevegetables! The service was great, just like wine list and atmosphere! Ordered 2 pizzas from Amore tonight. The total cost seemed a bit high, so we asked for a receipt. It didn?t have any prices for... the items, so we had to ask. To say that we were shocked when they told us that they had charged us $5.50 for extra cheese is anunderstatement! Even the hostesses mouth dropped open! That is more than half the cost of the pizza itself, which was $10. Thiswas just a plain cheese pizza. The other pizza was a white pizza with added spinach that was an extra $2.50. Both pizzas werevery good, don?t get me wrong. But next time I?ll save myself the cash and add my own cheese for $5.50!! That is a ridiculousamount of money. Read more
Had a margherita pizza and pink vodka sauce pasta here. Nicely designed restaurant and the pizza was amazing and very reasonably... priced. Pasta sauce was good too, the penne was just a bit overcooked but still delicious. All of the staff and our server weresuper friendly and kind as well. Definitely will return to eat out on the patio when it's cooler outside! Read more
