Today was my first experience at Thai Lao. I know the reviews praised so much of the food. It was a good soup day so I got the... beef pho option B with brisket. The broth was okay, the meat was thickly cut and chewy. I would have liked more flavor, maybemore herbs and some crunchy onion bits. They are popular at lunch. I found this place by chance during our trip(it was just open few weeks ago!). Menu has pictures so that we can easily find out... what dishes are. A waitress is friendly and provided us good service. We ordered Pad thai and Pho. It was beyond my expectation.Soup is so good and my kids really liked it. Not to mention Pad Thai is also delicious. My husband and daughter went to try out the new Thai and Lao Cafe on the second night of opening (soft open) and we were... extremely impressed ! The food was so fresh and the vegetables were so flavorful and so fresh ! In every bite you could tastethe flavor of everything ! I am so excited for when the staff are over the nervousness of new beginnings as it?s a verystressful start for them with everything that comes with opening a brand new business ! They are amazing people and doing sowell already I can only imagine how great of a place this will become as they get comfortable and everything runs smoothly ! Wewill definitely be back to try more of their dishes Excellent food ! The prices are not bad as well ! With the price ofeverything going up I was surprised to see the fair prices on the menu Delicious egg rolls ! Delicious pork fried rice delicioussweet and sour chicken and the rice noodle beef chow main! Never have had a true true perfectly tasty sticky rice This wasamazing ! Food tasted amazing. Service.... yeah. We were forgotten. Didn't get to order for 40 minutes only because we got up and said we... were ready. 4 waiters kind of on duty. 3 people who came in after us were served before us. 2 left before we even received ourfood. We were only checked on twice in 2 hours. Once to ask us if we were dining in or getting to go. We had already ordered ourfood at that point and then once we answered dining in, the waiter apologized and said our food had been bagged to go and hadbeen sitting in the back, so we said we were still dining in(it's date night, we wanted to go out to eat kids free), and he wentback into the back for 20 more minutes before coming out again. 5 mins after that the waitress brought our food and one set ofutensils consisting of a fork, spoon, chopsticks and a napkin for us to split. The second time was because my boyfriend hadasked for more water as we'd both drank our cups in the span of an hour and half. Altogether spent 2 hours in the restaurant.Only the last 20 eating. It'd be a great business if the waitresses would spend less time dancing around to tik toks and goingon random breaks to get sodas and water from other nearby stores. Read more
