Stopped here on a road trip and was pretty impressed. More open faced hoagie style which was interesting. Ingredients were... pretty fresh but nothing too special. Always try to support local spots rather than subway when I can, and this was definitely asolid option. Read more
Just moved to town and have stopped by here a few times already, love the subs. great price, if you order extra meat or tell... them heavy on something they don't skimp out! really feel like my money goes further here. its also nice to have a good sandwichplace in town so close by. seems to be the same rotating staff so already learning names and faces since ill definitely becoming here a lot! I've always really liked Jreck's subs, much better than Subway. This restaurant is a bit odd, filled with bric-a-brac and other... tchotchkes. They do have a decent bathroom, decent seating area, and a selection of bottled drinks, which I appreciate. Theirsubs are always a bit pricier than what you'll find elsewhere, but generally worth it. They did bizarrely forget to charge mefor the two drinks I got, and service was a bit slow with only one worker behind the counter. Overall, though, a good place toget subs. Read more
Always has the freshest Rolls for subs and also great deep fried mushrooms and mozzarella sticks ! I go here with my kids and we... always eat good and have a great time ! The kids really enjoy the Chicken Tenders and the fries are totally awesome ! ExcellentService with a smile ! Read more
Here is the thing. I love small family places instead of chains. This one did nothing wrong but this is a Subway clone with... far less sub options and some deep fried sides. What makes this better than a Subway or Quiznos? Food was prompt. Staffwonderful. But I just can?t see giving this sub shop five stars when compared to its competition. The food was the most basicminimum for a sub. The site is nothing special. The price is average. I tried and couldn?t come up with a reason this isworth more than three stars. Would I come back? Nah. Jreck has been our family favorite since the very early 1070s. Thrilled there are the Weedsport and Auburn restaurants. Candy,... the owner, works very hard to keep standards at the Jreck high and prices low, even through COVID and the crazy employmentsituation of today. Once you have had a JRECK sub, you will understand its cult following. Read more
