We enjoyed our time at Eaton?s Beach. We sat on the lower deck and watched live music during dinner. There was floor fans that... kept us cool in the heat. It was fun watching people on the beach and throughout the restaurant. Our waiter was knowledgeable(as he explained he worked in the kitchen before serving) and very friendly. The Shrimp and Grits were our favorite (pictured).We also ordered a basket of Hush Puppies, but did not enjoy the flavor as much. The Hawaiian Long Island Tea was a nice twist. Read more
First time here, we wanted to try lakeside dining with a view. It's a very big restaurant with seating for all types of... customers, casual drinks to fine dining. Our waiter Roman was AWESOME! He gave us great recommendations on food, even tried toget our order in before a huge party so we wouldn't have to wait long. He should be a trainer on how to take care of customersfor other wait staff. We all enjoyed our food and would love to come back in the evening to try some of the fancier dishes whenwe are back in the area. Read more
Eaton's Beach is an enjoyable experience whether you are looking to get out from the heat or eat outdoors and enjoy some sun!... There are multiple tiers to this building with the top tier mostly indoors, with windows which can be opened by request withmanagement approval (they closed them when we arrived due to humidity), and a downstairs area which has open air seating alongwith tiers of tables in-between and lakeside. The food was better than I anticipated! The fries were perfect and my pulled porksandwich was shredded and tender. It came out dry (no sauce), but once you add the BBQ sauce to your liking it was amazing!! Iwill be back to eat and maybe next time play on the lake with jet skii rentals available too. This was first time at Eatons. We sat downstairs next to beach. The beach was cool. A few were swimming, others renting pontoons... and there Was a floating plane parked. The restaurant area had a nice ambiance. The restaurant was clean, a bit buggy withflies and love bugs. The waitstaff was awesome and quickly took care of our drinks and orders. Two of us ordered the Weirsburger. They said it was delicious . One of us ordered shrimp creole. The shrimp were a good size and the person cleaned herplate off. She said it was great. I ordered the chicken Caesar salad. It wasn?t very big and the chicken was burnt hard on oneside from being blackened too long. I couldn?t even bite into the chicken and it was very dry. I ended up eating the lettuceand croutons and left the chicken. I was very disillusioned for a $14.99 salad. I probably won?t be returning since seafood isnot my favorite and If I do return I will not order the chicken Caesar again. Service was great though. The waitstaffattentive. Read more
The staff was an incredible blessing! The food is delicious, everything we ordered was amazing. We keep coming back again and... again. The balance of nature and entertainment is unmatched,in this area! A great place for everyone. Can't wait till we go back! Four of us, needing to be separated from crowds because one in our party has a immune deficiency,... were given seats on the enclosed porch. The view on the water was very good. The temperature was comfortable. In this area wewere able to converse easily. Our server was attentive and offered suggestions for first-timers. She gave us a few minutes then,returned for our order. The food came and was beyond our expectations. All, but me, ordered seafood. Everything came outperfect. Such a great place! We got there at noon and beat the crowd. Many other people were waiting over an hour to eat, but we got... right in. There were a lot of holiday visitors though too. We enjoyed the beach and also used the jet skis! The chairs for rentwere taken pretty quickly there weren?t many, but we were happy to just lay on the beach and let the kids play. It was busy, butwe didn?t feel too crowded even though it was a couple days after Christmas. We will be back! Read more
My wife said she wanted to go eat on the water somewhere for lunch, so I googled and found Eaton's less than a half hour... away. Great view of the lake, got to see a sea plane take off, which was really cool. The restaurant was well staffed and veryclean. The decorations were nice as well. I ordered the crawfish boil, wife ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. Both wereplentiful and delicious. The waiter was excellent, and while it took a little bit to get our food, it was well worth thewait! Prices were on the upper end of a place like this, but when you are dining with that view you expect to pay for it, so Ididn't think it was so bad. We will definitely be back to check out the downstairs steamer bar! Read more
