We traveled to Mt.hood for a girls weekend and went to this restaurant. We were welcome by Brianna, she immediately matched the... high energy we brought into the restaurant and made an effort to make a connection throughout our evening. She was lovely, attentive and courteous. She went above and beyond! Will definitely come back when we are in town, this interaction was perfectfor our girls weekend. Read more

I haven't had such poor quality dinner in many years. The "8 oz ribeye" - ordered rare - was a terribly overcooked round steak.... The "fried chicken" was freezer style you'd give your toddler. The baked potatoes (both) weren't even fully cooked. Theydidn't even get the drinks right! The Long Island's didn't have a coke splash, the Moscow Mule was served in a tall glass, andwe had to go get my dad's sugar for his tea because it was never brought to us after being requested. These aren't all theissues, I'm just tired of typing it all out. It was Ridiculous! My partner and I drove 1.2 hours to eat dinner there... wewill Never eat there again and we will be sure to warn others that tell us they're headed to the mountain. Our dogs/cats enjoyedall the leftovers though. Read more

Service started out great. Then when we received our order, everything pretty much went down hill. My $38 Lemon Garlic Herb... Halibut was over cooked and extremely dry. The $24 Halibut Fish & Chips was over cooked and dry. Then my husband?s $45 8oz.Ribeye steak was extremely over cooked. He ordered medium rare and received the first steak in the picture. It was so overcooked. Then he told the waitress and she said ?ok I will have to check and get back with you.? He waited for another 20 minutesbefore we had to ask what they were planning to do about the steak. They finally brought out the second steak, shown in secondpicture. Still over cooked and extremely under seasoned. Their menu describes the steak as a ?8ozRibeyeSteak Seasoned Prime CutRibeye cooked to order topped with caramelized onions? there was no seasoning and no caramelized onions and definitely not toorder. The other 2 entries the $14 BBQ short ribs and $7 kid?s chicken tender was barely decent. The only thing almost decentwas the chicken wings appetizer. We had to wait almost another thirty minutes to get the check. My husband ended up having to goup to the bar and for the check. Our check was $157 plus $24 tip. The restaurant is understaff with one person running the barand table. One person (the manager) as the host, waitress, and only person in charge of ringing up the orders and collecting themoney. And one person busing the tables and refilling the water. I usually do not write up reviews but a dinner that cost thatmuch and ended up over 2 hours, which 1 hour was wasted just waiting around is just ridiculous. Read more

We stayed 3 days at this resort. We ate several times at the Altitude and only had one bad experience ( which was resolved).... Otherwise the food quality, price and serving portion were excellent! I would eat here again, no debating. Thank you, Mariah forthe great service and conversation! Read more

Restaurant has a calm, comfortable environment, with half circle booths and tables. Iron leaf chandeliers, a backlit bar and TV... playing news or sports, mirrors and tiled walls, with full windows to the central area of the resort and outdoor dining area. It's in a nice forest location with great views. Wooden deck area outside with gas fire pits and heaters, string lights. Menuis mostly standard country club offerings, with comfort foods and fried foods you'd find in bars, with some higher end steaksand salads. As this was the off season, we were basically alone for dinner. Service was friendly and accommodating. There wassomething for everyone, even if there wasn't a dedicated menu for kids. Read more
