Wow! What a hidden treasure this restaurant is! It's hidden in the back corner next to Thriftway. The owners are amazing, ... creative and clever! Love the 6 salsas and chips you get with your meal. The patio is quaint and the ambiance is perfect! Read more

Best restaurant in the area! The people here are so nice and friendly, the environment is great and the food is beyond... expectations! The tacos are so special and so delicious. We ordered house taco, street taco and shrimp taco. Strongly recommendordering any tacos. We went skiing here in Mt Hood and it?s mostly American style restaurants with burgers and fries which arequite unhealthy to have for several meals consecutively. This is truly a more special place. Pros: Food was really good!! (There were 5 of us so we ordered made to order guacamole, street tacos, hard tacos, chili relleno,... and meat combo wet burrito, tres leche and whiskey bundino) Owner was friendly and engaging and working the floor. Atmospherewas nice! Location was great with ample parking. Cons: Service was extremely slow (we were told they were down 3 staff thatnight) Food came out staggered so we all ate at different times and peppermint hot chocolate was warm (not hot). Whiskey bundino(by definition is a pudding) was a very thin yogurt like consistency. And after a quick Google search, an Italian dessert...flanwould better ;) Menu indicates vegitarian refried beans upon request, server said they don't have them (not sure if they wereout, server didn't know or they no longer offer that) If you are looking for a quick bite, this is not necessarily the place togo...although I'm sure some days/times could be faster. We were there 5pm on a Wednesday so we didn't expect a long wait. Wewere there almost 3 hours start to finish. We had met some friends we hadn't seen for a few years some were catching up so itwasn't a huge deal...except getting the food staggered. I really appreciate that the owner was out working the floor. That saysa lot about the integrity of a business. We will definitely go back!! Read more

We were BLOWN AWAY by the service, food, and atmosphere of this place. We had a late lunch on the heated, covered patio on a... Friday afternoon. For starters, we had house margaritas (happy to report they use paper straws!) and the salsa sampler. Pro tip:the printed menu only has a trio, so make sure to ask for the cinco! My husband had the carnitas street tacos and I had thevegetarian enchiladas. Everything was well-priced, sizable portions, and absolutely delicious. Canine reviews of the menu areraving as well. Sandwich and Zeke made happy bowls of both the Pupa-Chicken and Pup-Dessert dishes. The decor inside isbeautiful and has more of a Vegas feel than an Oregon Mountain. The lounge and bar area will definitely be visited by us forsome apres ski margs in the near future. I could see this being a great place to celebrate a birthday or bachelor/bacheloretteparty. I don't normally review bathroom amenities, but you MUST try the owner's homemade sugar scrub! My hands have never feltsofter. What I was most impressed with was the genuine care and attention we received from our server Garrett and the rest ofthe staff. The cooks, wait staff, and manager all came by to say hello to the dogs and make sure we were enjoying ourselves. We'll be back again soon! Read more

Chicali Cantina is the best restaurant on the mountain right now. Sophisticated Mexican cuisine, combined with upscale dècor,... and superior service made my dining experience memorable. Six different salsas paired with traditional chips are not to bemissed. They don?t just throw a basket of chips and a simple salsa on the table for you to eat while you wait for the entree.Carefully curated salsas like smokey chipotle, guava and carrots, pico de gallo, and more simply elevate the chips and salsaexperience. We enjoyed the Street Tacos as an entree. We certainly will visit again and try something new. Read more

My husband and I have been here now 5 times! The food, drinks and service has been simply amazing! The food is so delicious and... authentic! The braised beef breakfast burrito for Sunday brunch is the best I've ever had! ! The margaritas are just like youget in Mexico! This place reminds me of a restaurant in Rosarito! Such a fantastic addition to the mountain! Don't miss out onthis diamond!! Read more

Amazing Birria tacos, beautiful 6 salsa sampler, fantastic cocktail list, great wine list! It's a great space in the summer-... beautiful covered outdoor patio with heaters and big garage doors that let the sun into the indoor space. And it's going beamazing in the winter- super pretty indoor space and great heaters on the outdoor space. Comfy couches for cocktail hour, nicefireplace for groups outside, good tables for big groups. Cannot wait to come back. Read more

Entire experience was amazing, this restaurant is not only beautiful and welcoming, but all of the staff were top notch. Best of... all the food was amazing! I had the salsa flight and every single one was delicious and so fresh! Then the carnitas plate withgrilled veggies, rice and beans and warm flour tortillas, everything was great. I was so full but just had to try the thevanilla ice cream with spicy caramel sauce, and you guessed it also amazing! I am so glad this level of quality and freshingredients has found a home up here on the mountain and can't wait to try the rest of the menu, and super pumped for theirbrunch! Read more
