The food is so good. You will want to drink the sauce. The main restaraunts are great of course... The express nomenclature is... correct... It is lightning quick and the menu is smaller. This was the cheapest most disgusting food I?ve ever paid for. The Parmesan cheese tastes and feels like sawdust. The wine sauce... smells strong like methanol. It was inedible and I tossed it. The tiramisu was a store bought product that came in a plasticcup. I can?t imagine how they stay in business. Read more
We got delivery after the snow storm today and the delivery crew was amazing! They had to come back to drop off one of the... entrees and came back right away and brought us desert for having left it behind. We have got take out from here before and itis always so delicious! Read more
Today we had lunch at Fiorella?s Express in Wellesley and was glad we did. I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan plate and my husband... had the small Spincotta & Prosciutto pizza. The pasta was perfect with their marinara sauce and loved the crispy breadedeggplant cutlets with mozzarella cheese. The pizza was very tasty with a hot crust. Will return again! Read more
Fiorella's is new to Wellesley. The first pizza we tried was the Spincotta and Prosciutto. It has a crust that is light and... crusty, and the ricotta and mozzarella, spinach, and prosciutto toppings were plentiful. We will definitely be back to try more. Read more
Great first visit: welcome to the neighborhood! The walnut salad was practically perfect. I also got the tuna sandwich, and the... tuna is delicious and unusual (briney flavors of putanesca with roasted red peppers). The sandwich bread needs work. It's...fine, but it doesn't measure up in quality or flavor to the rest of the menu. The eggplant parm sandwich is delicious, but itneeds more sauce. Unfortunately, the bread wouldn't be able to withstand more sauce. Lovely staff. Colin is friendly andknowledgeable and interested in his customers. I was going to give 4 stars, but they were so receptive to my feedback (and letus try some truffle cookies, which were delicious), that I feel compelled to give 5 stars. Thank you. There are two types of takeaway pasta, pile it high, sell it cheap. This is the other type. The pasta is about 30% cheaper than... eating in a local restaurant. It was cooked perfectly (Al dente). Garlic bread was a soggy mess. My recommendation is theyshould allow the cheese to be put on the dishes after, so everything doesn't go too soggy. Generous with the shrimp. then.parmesan fries, just cheap fries, with good flavoring. They should also move away from plastic.Will be back and will updatemy review good start, but could slip if they don't improve a few items. Read more
Very friendly welcome by the counter person. I started ordering the wrong sandwich and he helped me order the right one. I... really should take my glasses with me. Anyway, we sat and the food didn?t take long at all. It is counter service so you orderat counter and the food was brought to our table. Threw me off with the tip part. I left a few dollars then realized he?s kindof half serving so maybe next time. The food was very good. The sauce(gravy), although not better than mine????, was very good.The chicken was whole breast, not some processed chicken. The rolls were very soft and fresh. Eggplant had a nice flavor. Notthe typical freezer burn taste you tend to get. The pizza was spot on. All in all a great lunch! The one thing I would commenton is the rolls are a bit small for the price.
