Awesome spot for some fresh oysters and a view! The atmosphere was awesome and it?s quite a popular spot. We arrived 15 min... before open and the line was probably 10 parties long. If you want a seat outside you need to be there 15 min before open. Staffat the host stand wasn?t the friendliest but the wait staff was great! Read more

Located at the bottom of a sand dune and hard to find ( Google Map it )-- The food is consistently good with a low key funky... atmosphere. To say this place is popular is an understatement -- it has large lines of people waiting as long as it takes to getin because it's worth waiting for, even if you're old and cranky like me. Great food, good service and a loud fun place to be. Read more

We arrived with 8, 4 of which were under 8 yes old...the staff were unbelievably accommodating and very helpful. Food was very... nice, the batter on the fresh fried seafood was light and cooked perfectly. All the meals were hot and delivered together. Ofcourse the location is Cape Cod perfect, margaritas were delicious. Go back every chance you get when on the ocean side of theOuter Cape. Read more

The food was good! Staff was super nice and knowledgeable. The mussels are some of the best I've tried. Also the swordfish tacos... were delicious! Very busy, lots of people Downfall is that parking fills up quickly, there is another spot down the road thenext beach over if you are down for a little walk (however still $30). But you get the parking for the day and can make a beachday out of it. Read more

It?s all about the experience here. It has a college vibe and is really fun. The food is fine, but the main focus is on the bar.... If you?re lucky enough to get parking, the $30 fee can be used as a food voucher or a t-shirt. It?s a must-go-to on the cape. Read more

Beachcomber exceeded our expectations and will be a regular stop when we are in the area from now on! The food was great, simple... done right, the clam chowder was one of the best I?ve had and the drinks were generous and delicious. The atmosphere wasfantastic, our waitress was attentive and gave us some great local spots to check out. Truly there is just no beating thelocation! A post dinner beach walk meant seeing seals frolic in the waves and some gorgeous photo opportunities from the top. Read more

Enjoy this place while you can. There is nowhere else like it in the north east. You may need to pay $30 to park but guess... what, it?s beach parking and you pay $30 everywhere and you get a credit . Then you have a fun place to hang and get decentfood, with the best views you?ll ever have at a restaurant. I say enjoy this place while you can as the beach is eroding. Everyyear I go back to the cape it is a bonus to hear this place is till going. Wait for outside as well. Read more

The Beachcomber is a unique Cape Cod experience that is as close as you will get to a Florida Keys bar in New England. While the... food is average, the raw bar is often excellent, and the actual bar is very unique - especially if you sit overlooking thebeach. The best part of the Beachcomber is the setting right on the beach - so if you go, take the time to climb down to CahoonHallow Beach and enjoy a slice of the Cape Cod National Seashore. I give my review two stars for a simple reason: you need topay $30 to park. They do this for a simple reason: to discourage people looking for free parking for a beach. You will howeverbe refunded your $30 on your bill, provided you actually get a table and eat. But you should know that the combination of thebeach and bar make this one of the busiest restaurants on the Outer Cape. I've sometimes shown up and been seated immediately, and other times have waited 90+ minutes for a table - or been turned away because my party was too large. While I've heard youcan ask for a refund on parking, from other reviews here it doesn't seem like that is really the case. But as long as you gointo it accepting the risk of losing your $30 and possibly not getting a table, the Beachcomber can be a funexperience. Addendum: You can see the owner's response below. The restaurant he is telling me to go to instead of his is Macson Commercial Street in Wellfleet. If you haven't been, it is a great option: good food, good service, and nice setting onmarsh. Oh, and you don't have to pay $30 to find out if you can get a table. ???? Read more
