Location: right across wellfleet marina in wellfleet cultural district. Ample own parking for the location. Food: we had a cold... and hot lobster sandwich which was huge, filled with claw meat and served with fries. (Fries were luke warm, not greasy and theywere tasty but not piping hot.) Oysters were super fresh and tasty. Cod tacos were phenomenal. Sweet potato fries were ok buthuge serving. Drinks: cape cod blonde was good. Sangria was a bit watered down. Pina colada mocktails we're super. Cost: notcheap but pretty reasonable considering the location, quality and menu choices. Service: polite, prompt andattentive. Ambiance: we sat upstairs with a great view of marina and sea with light breeze for our late afternoonlunch. Bookstore was (permanently?) Closed ???? First of all, service was on point. Stacy was our waitress and she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable... throughout the entire experience. Now, let?s get to the food. The food was also top notch. Our dinner came out to us quick andwas piping hot with a multitude of flavors and smells. The depth of flavor in my Baked Medley (cod, scallops, shrimp) wasamazing. The broiling has been tuned to perfection, compliments to the chef and the skill it takes to do this. A nice firm meatwith the perfect crusting on top to go with it. Everytime I come in this place? something good happens! The food is amazing, very good quality? we know about the housing... problems all business get understaffed? But the service is great because they have people who care and remembers you. I alwayscome back for the marble cod sandwich? I forgot to take picture because was so good AND I ate at all haha. Bookstore & Restaurant serves the MOST AMAZING LOBSTER ???? ROLL & Oysters ???? . I would add a photo of the lobster roll but... too delish to wait.. The food was great, don?t get me wrong. We were asked if we would like to sit at the bar, this would have protected us from the... wind outside or so I thought. We sat right in front of their glass door and at first it was fine. As time past, the wind onlygot more violent to the point where my bf and I could not sit there and eat while our hair blew into our faces. The soda is alot sweeter than usual but other than that food was 5 stars, seating gets 1 star. Read more
