I love bbq. I have had it from all over the country and I always find good places and okay places with the great ones sprinkled... in. I live in Wellington and had some high hopes with it being 5 mins from my house. My first experience was the sausage andbrisket sandwich with slaw and side of their brisket n beans with no drink and a tip. That was just a bit over $20. I am okaywith spending that on bbq but it better stand up to the price. I?m going to say it was good but not $20 worth. I?m full and itwas a good meal but I would expect closer to $15. Some of the sandwich was dry and hard to chew, and flavor was not bursting asmy expectations anticipated. The slaw was not very good in my opinion. I was going to try the 2 meat combo but that would havebeen over $25 after tax n tip (add a drink and your probably pushing $30). The beans and brisket was good but I like some extrabbq flavor with my cowboy beans, so I needed to add bbq to it. The mustard is pretty good and standard bbq was good but nothingout of your standard for a bbq joint. I love to support local business and I will be back to try another menu item but I willprobably not be a frequent flyer due to quality vs price. I would rate it between okay and good. If you bring a family of 4 youwould be spending the same price as a decent steakhouse. My 2 cents. Read more
Have been here multiple times and try something new every time. Food is really good! I?m not a big BBQ sauce fan so I love that... things are not just drenched in sauce. Try the tacos, you won?t be disappointed, the brisket is my favorite. Read more
They share a space with the Colorado brewing company. I arrived late in the day and they were out of spare ribs and I was able... to snag the last loaded potato. On the flip side at least that indicates they make it fresh. Staff was friendly and you canorder a beer from Colorado brewing. Tons of outdoor space, wish I could have had their ribs but impressed by the huge smokeroutside their shop. Read more
Great Experience! We ordered meals to go last night. I ordered the tacos and my husband had the two meat meal. I was... familiar with the location but had never been inside since it was converted into a restaurant. As I walked in I was greeted ina friendly manner by one person, and another directed me to where to pick up my online order. Meanwhile I was wishing that wehad planned to eat in since it seemed like a nice place to hang out and have a beer! The sun was shining in the windows, therewas a guitarist and the place was quite full. Even the young woman helping with the pickup orders was great. We got our foodhome and it was also ...great! Husband really enjoyed the smoked brisket. He said the slaw and potato salad were also verygood. Yes, it was a bit pricey, but I think well worth it to have quality food . Listen y?all .. I have lived all over the US! seriously, I?ve tried so much different bbq?s rubs ect from alll over! but let me... tell you this place was FIRE!! It was so delicious I had to write this.. if you guys are picky bbq meat eaters or just downright want some amazing food ! This is theee place for you! There?s ample amount of indoor as well as out door seatings, patiolights , fire,, a freaking brewery that will quench your thirst in any type of weather! My gawd damn brisket , the ribs! eventhe Mf turkey was amazing! Brisket and sausage were fabulous tasting. A bit overpriced for the amount given to eat. Enjoyed the staff and family... atmosphere. We were hoping for more craft beers to try. Read more
I will never eat here again. The food wasn't good at all. The baked beans we're gross, the potato salad didn't taste like potato... salad and the coleslaw was slimy. The cornbread was hard as a rock. And the pulled pork was dry had to add lots barbecue sauceto even eat it. Gave my dog some and she wouldn't eat it. She eats everything. Read more
