A truly great find, a little gem in Wellington for some good Indian food. Nestled inside the old Wellington mall (about ten... minutes drive from the glamours Wellington Mall), this restaurant may not be easily spotted. But if you find it, you will not bedisappointed. Getting to the restaurant thru the entrance of the mall required a little bit of walking. The restaurant entranceis over looking a rather unique, old time amusement theme scenery. The restaurant it self is a decent size, with bar and plentyof seating. We visited to try their lunch buffet, not expecting much at $13/person for week days pricing. Upon seated, we wereserved with some fresh and warm Naan bread. Buffet consists of soups, fresh salad, couple of creamy Indian salads, with saucesand chutneys. They were some aromatic basmati rice, curried varieties of Indian side dishes and vegetables. Meat entrees wereChicken Tandoori and curried goat. Everything was delicious, fresh and tasty. I was surprised of how good the food were, considering the buffet concept. For the price, it is absolutely well worth it. I did encounter one small issue: there was a flyhovering around the buffet area, most likely flew in from an exit door that was located directly at the end on the soup stationof the buffet. Apparently, you could also access the restaurant thru this door, instead of walking thru the mall like wedid. Service was very good as well. Our waiter was very friendly, polite and attentive. Overall, it was a very good first timeexperience. We can't wait to go back to try their regular menu. Or check out the more extensive weekend buffet selection foronly $20/person. Read more

We have been to this restaurant lot many times and we always love to order chili paneer, malai kofta, veg madras, garlic naan... and mango lassi. Curry quantity is well enough for 2 people. Chili paneer is so crispy and delicious. Read more

Amazing, delicious, and excellent customer service. I'm very surprised and relieved at the same time that I found THE INDIAN... restaurant I can go to and enjoy. Fair pricing, abundance quantity, great taste. Will definitely go there again. I was lookingfor Hakka Noodles and vegetable Manchurian but they didn't have it on the menu. The chef just happened to step outside and ourwaitress asked him if they had that. They didn't have it but chef nodes his head in Indian style and said I'll make it ???? Read more
