Great place for a dessert, even there mini serving is huge!

I love this place and I love their custard but lately they have frosted me very much. We don?t live in the area and make special... trips to frequent this store in Wellington. The last time we drove in it was a Saturday night at about 7pm and they were closed.No explanation, just closed. Hours on door said they should have been open but they were closed. This last time we went to useour gift card and for the second time was told the gift card machine was broken and they could not honor it. Seriously?! If you love ice cream you will love Whit's frozen custard as you will not be able to tell the difference. They have a card... program so every10 quarts you buy you get a free quart. You don't have to buy a quart as you can enjoy a cup or cone of yourfavorite flavor and let me tell you flavor is the key word. The cost is more than what you will pay in a grocery store but thequality is worth it. I got the vanilla chocolate chip and it was loaded with chips. They have a daily flavor and I have neverhad one that I did not like. Our local Whit's in Wellington Florida employs young adults and I like to leave a tip because Iknow they could use the money. Tonight, on December 17th after dinner, my brother and sister in law took my wife and I to Whit?s. With us visiting from... Washington State, my in laws raved about the custard at Whits! It did not disappoint. We arrived around 8:30 on a Friday nightand the custard parlor was fairly busy. You could choose between Vanilla, chocolate, or Andes Mint Custard. Plus, you could adda variety of toppings. I opted for the vanilla custard with hot fudge and butterfinger. My wife got the ?Kid Scoop? of AndesMint and she added chocolate syrup, cookie dough and sprinkles. It was a delightful dessert. The custard?s consistency wasperfect. The prices were fair, customer service exceptional, and the atmosphere was what you would expect an ice cream shop tobe. I highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed. Read more

The custard is very good quality and makes you take a break from ice cream while you have to forget how good the custard was... just so that you can one day have ice cream again.
