I had the lobster pie. I fully understand now why is it famous. Definitely deserves the line up and wait. Amazing corn bread... and chowder. Truly spectacular. Amazing customer service too. Totally live up to the hype. I will go back. Read more

YES we are the ones who only came thanks to Diners, Drive-In's, and Dive's. NO I doubt we were the first. NO I don't have any... regrets. DO I regret getting the highly recommended lobster grilled cheese for breakfast? NO. It was absolutely more amazingthan it should be, such tender and lobster and lots of it, along with a very velvety light cheese and a perfectly grilledbread. To top it off, very friendly service, cool diner vibes, and HUGE and equally delicious pancakes (buried under thetoast/bacon/eggs in the photo). Read more

The food was spot on and glad I stopped by. Very busy but was able to get one seat quick at the counter. The daily special of... shepherds pie was amazing and clam chowder was equally as good. If you are in the area I recommend a stop. Super friendlyworkers too. Read more

The food, staff and service were excellent. Our breakfast came out pretty quick and came out exactly the way we wanted. Despite... the restaurant being packed, our waitress was constantly checkin in with us to see how everything was or if we needed anythingelse. Read more

I finally got to check out this adorable diner and am so glad that I did. My boyfriend and I were promptly seated at the counter... and greeted by several of the staff. Our server was lovely and took great care of us. We started with a wonderful seafoodchowder and a taste of the she crab soup. Both delicious! After that we shared the lobster pie (Yum!) and lobster grilledcheese. Stuffed and incredibly happy, we took a blueberry pie home. Very reasonable prices, wonderful staff and great food! Eventhe coffee was delicious! Thanks for a great experience! Read more

This place has reputation of its own. Appeared on several food channels. Food was good, I like it. Lobster pie is a must have... and the deserts was delicious. There was also a short wait so perhaps you may want to make a reservation. Read more

Maine diner was constantly busy. When they cleared a table people were standing there to sit down. It was like this the whole... hour or more we were there. However service was good. The food was decent but not the best seafood we had along the Maine Coast. The Lobster was a bit chewy and the chowder was not thick more brothy. It was still an enjoyable meal and would certainlyrecommend trying the Triple D if your a big Guy fan. One of us could not eat all of it though. Read more

We were told it would be a 25-30 minute wait. We ended up waiting 40 minutes. I had the Triple D. Hubby had the fish sandwich. ... Instead of fish chowder, I had she-crab soup. It was a thick gravy that had a small amount of crab and very little crab flavor. The rest of the Triple D was great. The lobster bake was excellent! Coleslaw and red potato salad were good. The cod fish cakewas also tasty. This also came with a moist corn muffin. The market price for the Triple D was $35.99. There was a tremendousamount of food and I couldn't finish it. The quality and quantity of food was well worth the price. Hubby's fish sandwich wasgreat, hot and juicy. The baked beans tasted like someone made a mistake and put too much liquid smoke in the batch. Read more
