If I could give this place zero stars I would. We decided to try a new Mexican restaurant instead of our usual since we were in... the area and so we stopped by here right before the dinner rush. We ordered our food and the Carne Asada tacos and the CarneAsada torta as well as the Carnitas tacos once they came out Looked gray, we decided just to go ahead and give it a try and weboth took one maybe two bites from our meals and decided that something just was off. We ended up leaving without finishing ourdinner and not even 10 minutes later we were both in the Walmart parking lot up the street throwing up as well as when we gothome. We should've trusted our gut and not ate the food but it was a lesson learned. We will not be returning back. Read more
The food here is great and authentic. You can tell they really take care to select fresh ingredients. The location and... ambiance could be better, but 100% worth it for the great food. Nice bonus is a small grocery inside with good produce. Themole here is incredible. Read more
Have lived in Wentzville for 6 years and had never been to Los Portales until we went out with a friend about a month ago...her... idea to meet there. We really enjoyed it! Staff was friendly, food was GREAT at a decent price. We went back again this weekendto try other items from their vast menu. Very satisfied again. Only problem I can point out is the parking lot on the southeastcorner made me a little nervous maneuvering. Read more
Drinks were very fresh tasting, chips were warm and the salsa was bright and flavorful. Interior is nice and clean but still... resembles a gas station inside and out, making parking out front unorthodox but dident effect us negatively. Service was great,she was very friendly and polite. Food was hot and tasty. Good value of the dollar thus I will be back for another 32ozmargarita.
