Drive through order was incomplete, upon discovering this at home I contacted the store. I was informed they "forgot to give me... my shake so they put it in the freezer." I was then told that I could drive back to retrieve said shake. That was the entireconversation. I wasn't interested in anything free but a credit for a future shake at equal cost for my next visit would've beenacceptable. There will be no next time. Read more
We had to go through the drive thru during a road trip from Billings, Montana back home to North Carolina and at first we... noticed the plain burger and bun we ordered for our dog and an order of fries wasn?t in the bag my husband went back in and wegot on the road and about 10 miles up the road I went to eat my single cheeseburger and it had all the condiments on it when Iasked for none so I scraped it off and not only that but it was ice cold there Cheese and everything. I decided to try to eatit any way but it made me sick to my stomach and I had to stop at 3 places to use the restroom. Although, the manager was politewhen I called and offered for us to come back which wasn?t happening because I never want to eat there again. I wouldn?t care ifI was starving!! Been here 4 times since they've reopened. 2 of those times within the last month. Every time, food has been hot and fresh. The... staffs friendliness could be better, but there could be multiple reasons for that. Low pay, over worked, bad manager, you name,who knows. Then again, most people these days are kinda grumpy. Food was great with fast service. We had Hamburgers, Chilli, French Fries and Milkshakes. It was the first time we had... experienced the these stores without wait staff and honestly, it was an improvement. We had a great experience. My onlycomplaint is the store was not as clean as it could have been. We found clean tables, but the floors were fairly dirty like theyneeded a deep clean or to be mopped more often. Read more
Great food and even though I HATE the whole kiosk setup they have now (bc it killed the nostalgia of the environment)... their... Service Trainer came out on the floor and interacted with all the guests. THAT is what we always loved about eating there (inaddition to the delicious food). Read more
My entire life Steak?n?Shake had a horribly slow drive through experience no matter the location I go to. I?m not sure what... changed this year but my god these folks at the Wentzville location are doing an amazing job. I rarely wait over 5 min and thefolks there are very positive and friendly at the window. It?s a tough work economy out there and I appreciate the efforts youall are making. Great job crew!!!
