We have lived in Wentzville for a hot minute now and have WANTED to have dinner here but just never have. I was surprised on my... birthday, the end of September, by my family for dinner here! We were a little on the early side so it wasn’t super busy yet(it was a Friday night) which was nice. Let me tell ya….delicious food. Pleasantly surprised! A much higher price bracket sobe aware of that if you plan on a larger group, or even yourself, we would probably save going here for special occasions. Thankyou for a more fine dining experience ! I've waited a full day to post a review as I was hoping to start feeling better about the experience. However, for what we... spent for our lunch, I just can't help myself. Please keep in mind that for 4 people we spent $180 (including tip). Thepositives: clean location, the server went above and beyond, and the atmosphere was quite and comfortable. (although, otherthan my family, there were only two other table(s) with guests in the entire establishment the whole time we were there). Theneutrals: The fries, salads, fried green beans, and the baked potato were as expected. The negatives: it took a really longtime to get our food. the server said the cook was new (if you are training a new cook, please do not do so on my $180's) Thefish was dry, (you can blacken fish without overcooking). My wife's ribeye must have been cut from an old cow as it had gristlethroughout. One son had a sirloin the other a NY Strip. The seasoning was extremely wrong for a steak (was it a mistake in thekitchen with the new cook?) The steaks were not seared well and were treated with a liberal dousing or dusting of what I couldonly describe as "Old Bay" seasoning. (why??... that's all I can say...) A good steak should never need steak sauce. However, were glad we had an ample amount to help kill the flavor of the seasoning. Unfortunately, if the steaks had much of a heartybeef flavor, this also was lost in the emulsion of sauce and seasoning. My family drove several hours to meet specifically atthis establishment as I thought it would be a great place for us to catch up and enjoy a great meal with each other. Even athalf the price this would be considered substandard fare. I'm still reeling from from the expense to enjoyment ratio. Thanksagain to our server who, not only was a sweetheart, but made the experience tolerable. I just couldn't bring myself to give hera hard time over the whole event. Even as the conduit or messenger to management. Read more

Our experience was interesting. We were greeted and sat quickly. The questionable service arose when we noticed that we were... left sitting without our complimentary bread for over 15 minutes. We noticed that tables that were seated after us werereceiving quicker services, apps and entrees. When I brought this to my waiters attention, the pretzels and our two apps cameout in less than a minute. Then our salads were brought to the table. My ceasar salad had 5 croutons. And to add insult toinjury it took over an hour to receive shrimp & fish tacos. We watched other patrons that arrived after us that ordered steaks, pasta and fish tacos receive their food. Read more

The food they make well (aka steak and specialty dishes) are excellent. The entire menu is either really good, or really bad.... Potato soup is great, the French onion is not at all. Their vegetables are fantastic, but their coleslaw is probably the worstI’ve ever had. It’s hit or miss here. Pricing is good, atmosphere is nice. Could be better. Lots of potential to make thisplace amazing, but it’s missing something. Sitting at the bar is much better than dining area. They are still using Covidmenus, so they have not gone back to original ones. Don’t really see that changing anytime soon. Seems like the restaurantshould be smaller for what it offers. STRAWBERRY MULES ARE AMAZING. Read more

The food was really good!! We were able to be seated right away when we got there. The waitress was nice, but we waited awhile... after we were done eating to get our checks and pay for our meals. Read more

We randomly pick new restaurants to visit and review. Today, my son picked Stone Summit Steak & Seafood. Our starter was the... spinach artichoke dip and pita chips. It was hot and delicious. One of the best spinach artichoke dips I have had. The maincourses were Chicken Gamberretti, Ultimate Cajun pasta, the hamburger and fries (kids menu). All of our food was hot, servedquickly, and delicious. The four stars is a result of no refills offered for my son or husband, and my house salad wasforgotten. Our server walked past our table several times and didn't offer them a refill. The portion sizes are good, thesetting of the restaurant is great, and we will be going back. Read more
