Absolutely THE best brisket that I have had in the RGV area! Possibly on their way to being one of the Texas top 10! The... prices are NOT too steep. Priced just right for the quality and massive serving size. Believe me, wholesale food prices arenot much better for restaurants and the paper products are ridiculously high. Pretty good barbecue. I did order a lean brisket sandwich and about a third of it was fat. The barbecue sauce is excellent. At... almost $13 for just a sandwich is pretty steep. Nice folks and good service. Just a little pricey. Read more
This truly is representative of the Valley's BBQ. Pork Belly burnt ends that are like meat candy that melts in your mouth.... Carnitas tacos that are moist and dressed up how I like them. I ordered the 3 meat plate. You get to choose which meats you want. I got turkey, pork ribs and brisket. You also get to choose... 2 sides, I got mac and cheese and fideo! I came specifically for the smoked barbacoa and decided to try their carnitas, as well. I was not disappointed with either. Very... moist and terrific flavor; you?ll get what you pay for. It is definitely worth the drive if you are out of town. I willdefinitely come back to try out the rest of their menu. Read more
