Let me start this review by saying they USED to be my favorite restaurant. We would eat here 4-5 times a month and introduced a... ton of people to capital tacos. It is absolutely disgusting now. A couple years ago they deleted all the items from the menuthat made them special. Anything with mangos or pickled onions and all their fusion flavors. Fusion is what made themdifferent. Fast forward to now?.I have gone a few times and tried different things but each time it gets more disgusting. Tonight it went in the trash can!!! Tonight?s Capital Taco makes Taco Bell seem like they are 5 star gourmet. I choked downthe Hen House which was lacking in flavor but I was starving. The Ground Beast Taco made me gag it was so nasty. Straightgrease and tasted like the imitation meat in jar tamales. I am so saddened they changed their entire fusion flair but you ruinedthis restaurant. Since this review is public, can someone please open a place that offers tacos like the original capitaltacos? Read more
The food you do get is good, but that's if you even get half your order. We order through Uber eats and they and the restaurant... love to play the blame game, but when you're ordering an average of $70 and you're lucky to get half of it and no one answersthe phone (on both sides) it's pretty discouraging. I have been eating Mexican food from here for the last 4 years but have been getting burritos and tacos. I got their salad which... is advertised as this big full container salad like any rational human being would expect for 20 dollars. Well good news googleI have a photo of the salad for you !! We ordered delivery for 5 of us in the office. 1st chips were stale. I ordered 2 Big Kahunas (fried fish tacos) that were... burnt/over cooked. And these were $6 a piece!!!! Trying to post pics! Never again!! Love Capital Tacos on Bloomingdale not thisplace!!! Read more

High quality ingredients, great atmosphere, amazing taco selections, craft soda, and beer options. Fantastic place to grab... lunch/dinner! The wait was about 15 minutes to get my order, but it wasn't because of the lack of hustle in the kitchen, theyare seriously that busy because it's fresh. For Friday night dinner we were craving for tacos and by checking near us we decided to have dinner at Capital Tacos. The... capital tacos closes at 9:00pm and we reached the place around 8:30pm. The place was nice, neat and clean with friendly staff.Since restaurant was closing in 30 minutes there were not much people. After exploring the menu we ordered Queso Bites anddipping sauce, Mexican Street Corn, Chicken Fajita Taco, Big Kahuna Taco, Double Mesa Taco, Mean Verde Taco, Hen House Bowl,Chicken Fajita Salad and Mini Churros. The service was good and we first got Queso Bites and dipping sauce. The queso biteswere delicious, full of cheese, hot and nicely made. We loved it. The Mexican street corn was not good and it was not hot andit was a bummer. Then we got tacos. Chicken fajita taco were good and delicious and we loved it. Mean Verde the fried avocadotaco was best and we loved it. Double Mesa taco the fajita chicken was also good. Big Kahuna the fish taco was also deliciousand tasty. Hen House Bowl was delicious and we loved it. It was different than the bowls we had and we loved it. ChickenFajita Salad was good and chicken made was delicious and cooked well. The salad was good and it was good for one person. Thechurros were although good but the sad thing was that with churros they only provide white cream sauce which was like glue anddoesn't have any other options with churros. Read more
