I traveled a couple states to go to Alphonso's and was totally worth it! After seeing their lightning rod mozzarella sticks on a... Facebook post a couple years ago, I put that on my bucket list and today was the day I checked that off!! The mozzarella sticksare HUGE and delicious! These bread sticks are HUGE, delicious and definitely worth the drive. I didn't even know this place existed as I have driven... past it many times. Because there's no signage where they're located, turn on your gps-you want to stop here if you love cheesesticks. Read more
We just had the lightning rods (mozzarella sticks) today and they were amazing! They are HUGE! The wait can be long but totally... understandable given the owner is the only one making them and that they are cut by hand. He works very hard to make everyonehappy and definitely well fed! Note: Picture was taken a little while after pickup. Alphonso's has the best mozzarella sticks I've had!! They are very... filling and have an amazing flavor as well. The staff was very friendly.
