Was visiting Milwaukee for some racing at the Milwaukee Mile. Asked one of the security guards where I could grab a burger. He... told me there was a McDonald's down the road but if I went a little further there was Big Deal Burgers. Glad he did and I forsure enjoyed my meal way more. This is a guilty pleasure. You have to stop at Big Deal burger is you are visiting Milwaukee. They are probably the best burgers... in town I have been there many times and I am never disappointed. Probably because they sell a lot, they're ingredients areusually full of flavor and fresh. I love my Volcano Burger ???? with cheddar and halapeño ???? ????. They have a variety ofoptions but volcano is my favorite. Read more
My husband ordered chicken tenders, a Chilli cheese dog, and two dishes of the flavor of the day. When he got home he discovered... they had given him a cheeseburger and a shake. I always tell him to check the bag before leaving because of this exact problem.That is why it is two stars instead of the one star they deserved, they perfectly proved my point. Always fast friendly service and fresh hot food made to order
Went to Big Deal for the first time today at the recommendation of a friend. Absolutely loved the menu selection and the unique... flavor of the day for the custard (strawberry rhubarb pie). In spite of the name, you will find much more than just burgers. Mywife had the gyro and I have the buffalo chicken sandwich. Both were delicious and their fries were what you want to see at afair. This place was much better than I was expecting and that's not a backdoor compliment. It's just that when it comes to faster or... fast food burgers, I've come to expect a certain level of quality (not all that high of a level) and this place definitelysurpassed my expectations. I was attending the Lego Brickworld event at the fairgrounds and I just wanted a good, simpleburger. I had never heard of this place but after a quick Look at the menu on-line, I gave it a shot. Simple set-up. Nice, butnot overwhelming menu. They have burgers, gyros, and Reubens as well, along with quite a few other options. Prices are actuallypretty good for the quality of what I had. I had a double cheeseburger, nice sized order of fries and good sized soda for justover $10. That might not sound like a great deal but once I saw the size of the burger and tasted it, I had no problem. I shouldalso mention that if I hadn't ordered the extra paddie for $2, my meal would have been about $7.90 and would have still been bigenough for 90% of the population. A good quality of meat, two 1/3 pound paddies and cheese served in a paper bag. What's not tolove? The fries were good but they did have a level of greasiness that was nice but after a whole bag, I had enough. For me,the fries were a perfect size to split with someone else. Service was good and everyone was friendly. Nice outdoor seatingarea. Pretty clean for a place with so much traffic. Overall, if you want a good burger, then this is a good place to go. Read more
Great food and service. My favorite is a mushroom/swiss burger. Nothing overwhelming and very tasty. Fries are crispy outside... and done inside, both just right. I get cherry Coke, which is not watered down and you can taste the cherry. Read more
