I spent many a late night at Perkins in my angsty youth and was intrigued to see how the new spot compared.\n\nI was pleasantly... surprised with the updated decor and my overall experience at Good Day Café.\n\nI was there for breakfast and ordered theavocado toast, which was really good -- the eggs come over easy, and I asked for them over medium and ordered a side of bacon, crispy please! And they followed my instructions perfectly.\n\nThe toast had ample amounts of avocado smeared on top, and wasthe perfect portion for breakfast. I also tried one of my friend\'s pancakes and they were quite tasty.\n\nThe menu hadsomething for everyone, from sweet to savory. I definitely look forward to going back.\n\nI will say that if you\'re going on aweekend, be prepared to wait a bit -- but it\'s worth it! Read more

If you have not gone to the good day Cafe you need to make your way there! The service was super friendly, and even with a... longer wait it, it did not take very long to be seated! The food was very fresh and delicious! Everything was flavorful anddid not disappoint. I had the salmon and eggs and my husband had the blueberry waffle. Both were perfect portions that leaveyou feeling full and satisfied. Their jam is homemade wonderfully tart and their butter, let\'s just say it\'s the best butterI have ever had and I didn\'t know what it was at first(I had to ask)..so light, airy, and creamy. Cannot wait to keep comingback for more! Read more

Today we had a very nice breakfast. I would recommend the The Good Day Cafe. They do need to offer Wi-Fi to their guests.\nTheir... Facebook page is very new and was hard to find.\nCafe has handicap parking handicap access handicap enabled restaurant. cleanrestaurant clean bathrooms good service comfortable seating.\nSeating hostess was highly stressed and had strong odar ofcigarettes. Restaurant needs soft background music.\nI complimented the food quality but waitress did not share comments withkitchen staff. Read more

wanted try try this place out since it just opened.\n\nThe food was decent but holy cow is it expensive. The gyro you see here... and a soda was $18.99 + Tax & Tip.\n\nGyro came with a soup too -- asked for clam chowder and was brought chicken noodle. Notthe end of the world but still frustrating.\n\nFries were cold and no ketchup was brought to the table. I was asked later If Iwanted ketchup but it was too late.\n\nGyro was good but there are better places in West Bend for that.\n\nProbably won\'t beback. Read more

This restaurant just opened recently, so we were expecting a few bumps in the road. We were greeted immediately and seated right... away. Our servers were so friendly and the menu had so many delicious and unique options!\nThe food was absolutely AMAZING.Every single thing we ordered was delicious, hot, fresh, and perfect.\nThe coffee was the best I\'ve had in a while.\nMy onlyregret is that I was too full to order anything else! I\'m very excited for my next visit and to try the lunch options! Ireally hope this place is successful and stays for a long time!! Read more

We visited Good Day Café twice on opening week, both for breakfast. The first visit, we had the Trio Skillet with a pancake... side (pictured) and the Breakfast Burrito with the fresh fruit side (pictured). The second visit, we had the Challah BreadFrench Toast, Little Brunchers (kid meal) French Toast Sticks, Greek Skillet, and Chopped Steak both with pancakesides.\n\nPros: Both skillets were very good, with our favorite being the Greek because it was unique and flavorful. The pancake(sides) were light and fluffy. The side fresh fruit was a good portion and variety of fruit, and the little brunchers frenchtoast was a huge portion! Honestly, large/satisfying portions all around.\n\nCons: The breakfast burrito was bland and verygreasy. It was very messy to eat as the extra grease was dripping everywhere, and I expected more flavor especially with thechorizo. The Challah bread french toast was also disappointing because it wasn\'t light and fluffy as I expected it to be. Icouldn\'t tell with certainty, but it almost tasted stale.\n\nEspecially on the second visit, the cafe was very busy so we triedto give the waitresses some patience and grace. With that being said, we waited over 10 minutes at our table before even beingaddressed, and another 10 minutes before she allowed us to order drinks. After ordering, we waited over 45 min for our food. Ourneighboring table ordered before we were seated and still didn\'t have their food as our food arrived - we felt really bad! There was a lack of attention to detail (i.e. we asked for fruit on the side and it wasn\'t, our pancakes and eggs wereinitially not delivered with the rest of our meal and we had to ask for them). We don\'t expect this to be an issue in thefuture so I didn\'t deduct any stars for service, but we look forward to improvements if we go back. Read more
