We went here on Saturday night for our anniversary. We have dined at The Norbert but thus was our first time at The... Orville. My wife had the venison ragu. She was a little worried about the venison. The venison wasn't gamey tasting and sheloved it. I had the 6 oz fillet mignon. The steak was cooked perfect and the demi glaze was a nice added touch. Excellentmeal. The staff was freindly and the service was great. We will definitely dine here again. Read more

My sister and I came here for dinner for the first time since it was The Poplar Inn. This was truly an A+ dining experience. ... The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the food is excellent. Started with a pomegranate sangria which wasvery good. We shared an appetizer of artichoke dip with their homemade bread which was savory and perfect. We both had thefilet mignon with mashed potatoes, asparagus, and mushrooms. I have had many many steaks in my 50 years on earth and thiswas the best I've ever had. So much so that I've already made reservations to celebrate my birthday here. Ordered carrot caketo go and it looks fantastic! This is my new favorite restaurant. Read more

Came to visit from PA, and one of our favorite things to do in WI is going out to eat. The Orville gave the best cheese curds... I've ever had, a scrumptious array of cocktails, and awesome vegetarian options. But the atmosphere, service, and complimentarysanitary products in the unisex bathroom, are worth a big shout out, too! Can't wait to visit the state again, mainly to visitThe Orville! Read more

Super cute patio area. I would visit just to sit there and enjoy a cocktail with friends. Definitely not cheap, but the food is... super fresh with interesting and sometimes surprising combinations like the lemon zest in the bruschetta. Servers wereprofessional and earnest. Overall a great experience. We'll definitely be back to try some more. Read more

Four of us had a wonderful meal and experience here. We tried a number of apps and entrees and each was very good. My fish fry... was excellent ... light and crispy. The baked fish was equally good. I also have to say the service team was superb... everysingle person from the world's friendliest hostess to our servers was wonderful. Thanks! Read more

We were directed to The Orville by its sister restaurant, The Norbert, since they were booked up for over an hour. The Norbert... is my favorite restaurant, and my group and I all assumed that the food at The Orville would be similar to The Norbert, with themost popular dishes crossing over. Not so. The Orville has its own menu, and while everything was fresh, presented well, and wastasty, the food just didn't charm me like The Norbert. However, the staff was enchanting and the surroundings were rich withhistory. And I still give the food 4 out of 5 stars. Note:(If ordering the pasta, ask for a little olive oil to drizzle over thetop.) Read more
