I absolutely love the Avenue Diner. My husband and I come here often, usually after morning hikes for breakfast, but sometimes... for dinner, as well. You literally cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. The food is solid, their fish and seafood is waybetter than it needs to be, and their service is awesome, and it's very reasonably priced. Service is good, portions are generous. I don't recommend their clam "chowder," it was really a soup and not creamy at all. But... everything else was really good at my table: gyro, chicken parm, burger, and fries. The service was great, our waitress was verynice and checked on us frequently. Read more
I stopped by while in the area and checked this app for a good place to eat. Avenue Diner came up and I stopped by. The parking... lot was packed with no parking spots available. Good indicator that I'm in for a treat. I decided to have Breakfast for Dinnerso I ordered The meat omelet with home fries and a short stack of French Toast. Usually home fries are plate decorations for me.I don't like them and will leave them on the plate. These were delicious! The meat omelet was very meaty & cheesy (some placesthey aren't). Every bite had multiple meats. I was thrilled and I enjoyed the French Toast. Avenue Diner has the perfect homefries and make a filling, delicious meat omelet. The French Toast was good too. Great restaurant! We went there for the first time for lunch with a group of 17. The food was fabulous, fresh, prepared as... ordered, delicious and fairly priced. The service was excellent and very friendly. The entire restaurant and grounds were veryclean and well kept. We liked it here so much that we've been back 3 more times! Read more
Decided to try out this place for lunch during the week. We were seated quickly and service was great. Food arrived hot and... fresh. We ordered the turkey club and gyro wrap, both were delicious. Loved the vibe, very cozy. Will definitely be back again! Read more

My family is from Jersey but currently in TX due to military. THEY DO NOT HAVE SCRAPPLE HERE????. I recently went home to visit... and stopped by avenue diner. The waitress was awesome. And I got my scrapple just the way I like it. I would definitely go back! Read more
I went along with 16 members of my family for Thanksgiving Dinner. The food was homestyle, seasoned well delicious. They were... very busy, the staff remained friendly, smiling, helpful...never overwhelmed. The host took a family picture for us! A littlegem that won't disappoint. Priced very reasonably also!
