Not a fan of Mediterranean Food. I had the lamb tender lion sauteed in wine and jumbo shrimp kabobs. The lamb was great but the... shrimp was amazing. I have had grill shrimp at some of the best places on New England coast and the Crab Shack in FL. It wasfresh and mini lobster tail size. Could not "one bite" these little slices of heaven. Short staffed (like everyone lately) but courteous, friendly and prompt service. You are served fresh, hot fluffy breads... straight from the fire (which they taste deliciously of) and a small dish of za'atar oil. Very nice. I had the mujdra sandwichwhich was fresh, hot and very good. The wrap surrounding it was nice and thin without being at all flimsy or soggy. My firsttime here and I will certainly return. The only real downside was the lack of lighting in the back restroom area. There was nolight in the hall, nor in the ladies room itself, and I couldn't locate a switch so I used my phone flashlight. The presentation of the sandwich was nice. However, the contents didn't follow the same vibe. The chicken was bland. No flavor... without the garlic spread. The garlic spread was limited on the sandwich. We ordered a half dozen of bread. The bread was justbread. No flavor at all. We received two pieces of bread with our half dozen order. I called to inquire about how many came witha half dozen. I was told six. I explained my dilemma and was placed on hold. While holding I decided they could keep theovercharge for the bread because I would never visit this place again. Lesson learned for me. I will continue to travel 35minutes to Oak Park, MI, to enjoy the flavors of a chicken shwarma and fresh baked bread like I'm accustomed. I refuse to spendmoney on mediocre food and zero compensation for a restaurants mistakes. It seems like the quality of food and the quality ofservice has increasingly declined. Therefore, I have choices on where and how to spend my money. Plus, I did enjoy the cooks orpreparers of food wearing a mask. It provided extra protection over the food from spit that flies from the preparers mouth, noton purpose, during their conversation while making food. I think masks may cut down on food poisoning.
