I travel. A lot. Dining alone is never fun, so comfort food always makes it better. And what more enjoyable comfort food on a... cold, snow flurrying evening than ramen?\n\nIchiro is a new restaurant that I just discovered. Several types of broth areavailable, as well as a selection of different noodle ???? styles. (Including gluten-free kale noodles. My server said any ramencould be made gluten-free, but I would double check).\n\nI had the chef\'s special. Mega pork char siu (which I\'d never seen orhad before) is just a thick cut of char siu. While not horrible, I\'ll take the thin cut char siu any day. Fortunately, thechef\'s special includes that as well ????.\n\nGetting back to the gluten-free options for just a moment, I always thought charsiu and chashu we\'re the same thing. I just learned (after I left the restaurant) I was wrong! Char siu is Chinese. Chashu isthe Japanese variant. Char siu is made with soy sauce, so not gluten-free. Chashu is not, so possibly gluten-free, depending onthe broth.\n\nSpeaking of broth, the Tonkotsu broth is very good. Smooth and creamy with just enough oil in it to give a greatmouth feel. They offer different broth choices in other ramen bowls. I will definitely be back next time I\'m in town to tryanother offering. Even if it\'s not snowing! ????? Read more

My partner and I have been so excited for this place to open. We went on their soft opening and were amazed at how beautiful it... is inside. The portions are huge and the staff are wonderful as well, making it a wonderful experience. My only concern is thatI have heard that a friend got sick after eating here, but because I havent experienced it myself and I have gone several times,I\'m a little skeptical that it was this food. I highly recommend Ichiro to anyone that really likes ramen! Read more

We had a fantastic dinner here. We were greeted and served by the owner. She was extremely nice and attentive. The garlic... edamame was off the charts good and the spicy chicken ramen was equally delicious. My new go to ramen place. Read more

So much detail has been put into Ichiro Ramen House. From the beautiful restaurant itself to the delicious food and excellent... customer service. They also have a tatami room which can be reserved and is the perfect setting for an intimate group meal. Wehad the fried chicken appetizer, fried udon noodles, curry ramen, and spicy ramen and the taste was on-point. Will be comingback for sure. Read more

ICHIRO ramen House finally did a soft opening this week. The waiter and I believe the owner were both very kind, helpful and... friendly. They offered good suggestions. The restaurant was very clean and spacious. The bathrooms were nice and clean. Theyhave a few bugs to iron out but nothing major. The food was nice and hot. Both my son and I enjoyed the ramen and fried chickenappetizer. I meant to take a picture but was starving and ate it quickly. Read more

FINALLY! I have been waiting for this place to open for almost a year now and I am glad it did not disappoint! I was blown away... by how beautiful the establishment looks inside! The art on both sides fits well with the overall theme of the restaurant andyou feel comfortable being inside.\n\nI ordered the classic Miso Pork Ramen and it was amazing! Not too salty, just enough tokeep the flavors consistent. The corn was a nice added touch that only a few restaurants around do right. It wasn?t cold, it wasperfect. The pork tasted excellent and fatty in the right places. And lastly the noodles were thick ramen noodles. Not theskinny noodles I have encountered before.\n\nI will be coming back here. I still need to try the spicy curry ramen and the blackgarlic ramen! Hopefully the Takoyaki is amazing as well! Read more

Here on first day opening. We got the Katsu chicken Ramen spicy and the Shoyu Beef Ramen. The Shoyu was so packed with... flavor: the beef was tender, it melts in your mouth. The Katsu chicken was perfectly cooked; great crunch and the broth was aperfect complement. This reviewer can\'t wait to come back to try other dishes!! Read more
