Our family of 3 showed up, unknowingly, 4 minutes before closing. We were starving and in the middle of our 4.5 hour drive home.... When we heard they were closing, we decided to just leave. Well, one of the workers looked at us and asked if we were hungry andI admitted we were starving...she told us to go and sit down cause they had a bit to do anyways. We were so very thankful sheinvited us to stay. The food was awesome! She was peppy and upbeat, even to stragglers at the end of a shift on a Saturdaynight. We ate quick and hustled out the door and left her a 30% tip for going above and beyond. So thankful to not have to havefast food and get an honest cooked meal. Such great service and compassion that you just don't get all that often anymore.Gratitude! Read more
We had breakfast, only thing I didn't like was the oil or whatever it was they put on the grill, I could taste it on the eggs... and hash browns, but everything else was good even the coffee! Our waitress was great, friendly. Reasonable prices too! Read more
Asked for extra ham on my Slim Jim didn't get it... Salad was gross yucky lettuce couldn't even eat it... Chili had no beans,... fish & chips batter is so thick its not cooked on the inside... asked for extra ranch didn't get it asked for fries cooked welldone didn't get it... I've always loved Big Boy and don't really think I've had a bad experience that stands out. The waitresses are very sweet. There... was one in particular recently that went out of her way to help me try to get my 2yo daughter to eat; she wasn't even ourwaitress, but it really warmed my heart to have a complete stranger go out of her way like she did. Big Boy at West Branch was a pleasant surprise when other nearby restaurants were at capacity or closed. The food was very... good, service was excellent, and prepared quickly. Our waitress was great with the 5 and 9 year old traveling with us. Dinnerwas very affordable too!! Read more
One of the best Big Boy restaurants I?ve ever been to. The staff is professional, personable, friendly and attentive. The... restaurant was very clean and the bus boy was very thorough. The food was fresh and prepared perfectly. I worked at Big Boyswhen I was a teenager and this particular Big Boy reminded me of that location after it had first opened up.
