Freda's is a nice neighborhood-type restaurant and bar. It's family-owned and has been around for a long time. You can tell a... lot of the people there have been patrons for a long time...it's a very easy-going and friendly atmosphere. Food is very good,with a wide range of options, including full dinners, pizzas, pasta, burgers, etc... always have various chicken, beef andseafood options available. Most nights there is a nice Specials list too. And make sure to save room for dessert...they havereally, really good options, including carrot cake, cheesecake, apple crisp and grapenut pudding. Great family owned restaurant, with homey decor. Food was made fresh to order and the cook himself came over to see if I was... enjoying my food (Shrimp Scampi). Fabulous service with great prices.
