This is seriously the best food to be had in Cape May! A huge step up from the mediocre meals served in this area. My partner... and I so enjoyed our meal we went back two days in a row. My boyfriend and I had the unexpected pleasure of eating at Homestyleto Go while visiting this area for a fall migration birding expedition and recommend the following dished we tried: The braisedshort rib cheese steak was melt in your mouth tender served on a soft ciabatta roll. The pulled pork sandwich with apple slawwas a wonderful pairing, perfectly cooked and not drowning in BBQ sauce on a brioche bun. The shrimp p?boy was excellent aswell served on a lovely ciabatta bread. Do try the desserts. We had a luscious dense almond flavored cake topped with whitechocolate raspberry cream?it was Beyond Devine! The proprietors, Chef Andrew and his wife could not have been more hospitable. I've been visiting Cape May for years, and over the past 2 have ordered numerous times from Homestyle To Go. The food is... exactly as it sounds, home style, fresh, and is absolutely delicious. Their menu changes weekly, and is diverse with salads andsomething for everyone. I ordered the fig burger, and highly recommend. They will try and accommodate dietary restrictionstoo. Read more

HORRIBLE customer service. Didn't get to try their food, tried to place a $900+ catering order. They said they'd send an email... for deposit. Called hours later, they had my email wrong so I corrected it. Called next day after still getting nothing and theystill had my email wrong and said they were sending now. Waited and nothing. Called back and the female owner was EXTREMELYrude--said she was too busy to talk to me and to stop bothering her, "we sent the email 5 times already". When I said that I'mjust trying to pay them money for an over $900 order she straight up said, "well, we get orders like that everyday SOOOO" andhung up on me. I called back to cancel and the male owner did apologize and admitted my email was wrong but said they wereextremely busy with customers "that were in their face right now". Extremely unprofessional service. We attempted to place a rather large catering order. The business kept sending the deposit... form and order info to the wrong email and the unruly lady working there scolded us for following up when we asked when toexpect it.
