I love first watch, this is my go to breakfast place. I don?t know if it?s just me but I feel that the servers aren?t the most... attentive and/or the nicest. I always feel some type of way when I go there- like I?m unwanted. Always rushed to leave. One timeI went with a group of my friends and their kiddos and their meals were perfect and came right away, while I waited for mine. Iasked about it and they didn?t seem to like it very much. I stayed polite and carried on because I didn?t want to make a scene.My daughters order wasn?t right and the server didn?t really like that she had to fix it. I was missing food that I ordered andit was very irritating, but continued to make the best out of the situation. I just hope that the service is better the nexttime around. Read more
Here I thought waffle house was the shizz, here I was wrong! This is thee best tasting healthiest breakfast I ever had! Their... drinks are phenomenal and their waffles are light, fluffy and airy! I've had to work in the Fairfield OH area on several occasions, and based on the recommendation of a person I worked with, I... opted to try First Watch. My first experience was back in October 2020 at the Liberty Township location. I only had breakfast,but it was excellent. I then tried the First Watch on the Floer Dr, as it was much closer to my hotel. On this occasion, I hadbreakfast early in my stay and had lunch on the day I left. I'm pretty simple when it comes to breakfast, as I generallygravitate towards the staples of eggs, some kind of meat, potatoes and bread. And coffee. The breakfast did not disappoint, asthe eggs we're done to my liking, which is medium, the bacon was fantastic as it was a slightly thicker cut. Finally, thestarches were done well, too. The potatoes are not overcooked and the bread was fresh and rather filling. Something I found coolis they provide water in a glass milk jug. That way, you don't have to keep bothering a person for a refill. On the day of mydeparture, I opted to have a Monterey Club sandwich with Italian wedding soup as my side. I'm pretty particular about lunchmeats or whatever kind of meats are put on my sandwich. This one seemed fresh shaved, or they used a brand I wasn't familiarwith. The combination of the soft bread, meat and condiments was definitely to my liking. The soup, it wasn't great nor was itbad. It just needed something a little more in the way of spices to make it less bland. Nonetheless, I ate the entire bowl, soit wasn't that bad. I plan to visit First Watch when I'm back in Fairfield, or for that matter, in any area where they have arestaurant. It's a moderately priced option for a good, sit down type of meal. Read more
Edited: The experience was still as described below; however, it was refreshing to see how First Watch took the experience... seriously and reached out via email to clarify details, and at least state that they will address the review with this location.I've had other experiences where I've tried to address issues with the owners or management, and they just get an attitude ordon't consider the issue as real or an actual problem. I appreciate their attention to detail in this matter. We enjoy thefirst watch experience on occasion. First time at this location. Food wasn?t as good at this location as it is at others in thearea. No attention to detail. Eggs over hard when over medium was requested. Service was terrible and slow. Our particularserver was getting everyone else to do her job and what she did in her own was amiss. I asked for over medium eggs in myBenedict and got the usual raw poached. Took forever to get initial service when seated, and management saw us wait a long time,but they didn?t bother to correct it either, so it must be the culture at this location. Sad.
