Best Waffle House by far. Staff was friendly, cook even came by himself to make sure we were enjoying our food. The food was... perfectly done, not greasy, and loaded with the toppings. The place was super clean. Definitely raised the bar of what I willexpect from others!! Read more
Coming from a server here on Cincinnati Dayton rd Waffle House, I know that right now short staffing is the new normal. Tried to dine at 12:10am at the one on Cin-day road in Cincinnati. We walk in there are 3 customers. They tell us can?t sit... there cuz that half of the dining room is closed. We go to sit at one of the many open tables she says can?t sit there tilthey?re cleaned. Literally 3 other customers and we can?t sit? so we drove down the freeway to a good Waffle House that waspacked and we could sit immediately. I?ve never had a meal that I?ve enjoyed more. When we arrived there was a few ladies working that looked like they desperately... needed help. Then John Casey walked in, he was a clean cut, well spoken, organized and was an absolute blast to watch. Hehandled every situation gracefully with a positive attitude. To hear him speak to his team was what you would have expected outof a great leader. He was a super hero to the other ladies there, we honesty joked that we wanted to stay for his entire shift.Everything else was good but John Casey was GREAT. The food was as good as it normally is but the service seemed to lacking at this location. I was waited on quick enough but... after that, the waitress seemed to be just busy doing this or that and it took forever to catch her attention the 3 times that Ineeded her. Maybe she was new or something (she did forget to ask how I wanted my steak cooked). Read more

Great food and good service. Busy place but they make it happen. All deserve a raise and tip them good. They deserve it.
