I’ve always love Four Dogs, especially the patio in the summertime. The patio is best when it’s not crowded (which is rare).... Food and drinks are always delicious! Service this past visit was just ok and I do think some items are a bit overpriced forwhat they are, like crab cake special. The crab cakes are good, but not good enough to justify being priced over $40. Read more

Started with rustic nachos which were very good and came served on a burned wood shingle. - very 'rustic'! French dip was good... but could have used some salt but none was on the table. Ordered horseradish on the side in addition to thehorseradish/mayonnaise type sauce. Glad I did as neither of them were very spicy. The horseradish tasted a bit old andweak. Macaroni was tasty and more than enough. Would definition go back. I hope this helps you. Read more

Had a party of 16 on Sat 4/23 & the server was very knowledgeable about the menu, he always made sure we had what we needed &... was very attentive. (Younger guy, dark brown hair & a hoop in his left ear) the food was great, with wide selection of flavors &everything was delicious! Read more

Great staff, great food, great drinks. Crab nachos are my go to when we eat there. Not regular corn chips, but crispy flour... tortillas. Jerk seasoned wings are another good appetizer. Summertime outside seating another bonus, and you can bring your dog.I recommend four dogs to people all the time, no one is disappointed. Read more

Historic house setting - comfy, woodsy decor, friendly wait staff, prompt service. Fun and interesting menu choices including... the specials. Meat loaf and crab cakes were excellent and the apple crumble and ice cream topped off an excellent meal. Read more

I love coming here and I highly recommend the fondue! It was plenty of food for two hungry people and may have been better for... three people plus a small plate appetizer or something. The interior is great, the meals are impressive, it is all around 5? Read more

I hate writing bad reviews but with the time we had I feel as though I need to…The prices were high for what we received, the... food is great but there is a lot more of a value at other places in the nearby towns. French onion soup is amazing and the $18Reuben sandwiches large and in charge, however the $26.50 chicken nachos are nothing special and way too overpriced. HouseCocktails are around $11-14 and delicious. The Service however leaves a lot to be desired, we finished our drinks and apps anddidn’t see the server until after our entrees were served. I noticed the family near us was waiting for their check for atleast 15 mins and our table wasn’t clear from appetizers even with the bussing service setting multiple tables around us. Itwas hard to order drinks or get more sauces and cutlery until I made it clear that we needed better service. My friend was therelast week and warned me I should have listened. $150+ for two diners on a Tuesday night seems like it should be a great diningexperience, it was not. I would check out the Kennett square area for some great dinner spots. Read more

Had a great lunch on Sunday with my buddy and our sons. The outdoor patio was nice and cool, and we enjoyed a few local beers. ... The smoked salmon gruyere sandwich was incredible! Well worth the price. My friend had the octopus which was seared andcharred perfectly. The salad had just the right amount of dressing on it, something I appreciate. Our waitress got my buddiesson some extra pickles, very kind! Overall this is a must stop for a meal. The chef is not messing around! Read more
