We chose Mae's to cater our wedding and we were blown away. Erin and Josh, the owners of Mae's were incredible to work with and... truly made our day special. From our guac bar, taco bar, dessert bar and handmade margarita mix, they didn't miss a thing. Erinnot only was there during the day of to help but she made sure we (the bride and groom) were taken care of. Each and everyperson on their staff was exceptional. The food was delicious and we are still receiving compliments on it all. Go now! Eattheir food, have them cater your event! You will not be disappointed. Read more

We had our wedding dinner at Mae's this past May for our very small party (about 10 people total). Everything was perfect - the... food was fantastic, the space is so comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to take care of us. We tried out most ofthe menu among our group and every plate was delicious. Looking forward to coming back here! Read more

Quaint little spot in West Chester. Food is decently priced. Got a starter of clams that was fantastic. Main entree of the... “DM” buttermilk fried chicken sandwich was honestly underwhelming. Not only was the chicken dry and flavorless but the pieceof chicken was about half the size of the sesame seed bun it was on. All that I could taste was the bun and lettuce. I wouldcome here shin to try some of their other items but if this it what they think is a fried chicken sandwich I would rather goelsewhere in town for the quality and price. Read more

I had my bridal shower hosted here and Mae’s really knocked it out of the park with everything. The food was amazing and they... were so helpful with setting everything up and making the day as stress-free as possible. They were also really great withaccommodating food allergies. Everyone kept raving about the food and really enjoyed the ambience of the place too. Thank you somuch!! Read more

2nd visit update I’ve tried their pancakes which were okay but breakfast potatoes weren’t crispy this time. Took my mom... here for brunch for Mother’s Day because it’s one of the only restaurants around us that allows you to make reservations!Servers were so friendly. Food was delicious. I love how they have different coffee and hot drink options unlike some otherbrunch places that just serve black coffee. My latte was awesome! The French toast was unique but not my favorite. I loved thebacon (they give you so much!!) I requested it well done and they listened! Also the breakfast potatoes were amazing. Read more

We went here for brunch after my daughters graduation last Sunday may 14 . It had been recommended to me by the West Chester... mom group. We live in NJ so needed some suggestions. It was absolutely fantastic. All 7 of us ate everything on our plates. Andthe waitress ( I think her name was Veronica ) was the sweetest person ever ! What a wonderful way to end the graduation...Ionly wish we had a place like this in Bergen county NJ. The most delicious potatoes I’ve ever had too. Everything was sodelicious! Read more

What's not to love? I've had both breakfast and lunch items and each time they are amazing. Love the outdoor street seating... (while it lasts) when the weather cooperates. Give this place a shot, you won't regret it. Updating...went for dinner as well.Just as awesome with some amazing desserts as well. Servers and owner super friendly and great to talk to. Read more

Lovely farm to table BYOB in West Chester. We had the pleasure of meeting Chef Josh and his wife the evening we were there.... Outdoor dining on Gay Street was quite nice until the steady rains came. The wait staff could not have been more attentive orfriendlier as we sheltered in place under the umbrella. They’ve had a rough go of it opening in the heart of the pandemic.Highly recommend the arancini appetizer and the turmeric shrimp appetizer. The peanut butter and brownie trifle was also ahighlight (keep making that!) as was the schnitzel dinner special. About the only critique I can offer is that the menu wasslightly too limited for me, as there were only four entree selections plus the special of the day. Nevertheless, Mae’s is agreat addition to the Borough, with really good people behind it. Looking forward to our next meal there. Read more
