Cute place in downtown West Chester. Probably the worst excuse for Mexican food I've ever had. Place was empty at lunch hour... on Sunday. Food is just ok. Doesn't stand out amongst the Mexican I've had but it was decent. The menu has less to offer than a lot of... other places I've been to, but Mas Mexicali gets points for atmosphere, with plenty of seating and a rooftop bar which is prettycool. It's definitely more of a college hangout spot than a place to go for good food, but that being said, the food was what Icame to expect: didn't stand out but wasn't bad either. This place is amazing! We sat at the rooftop bar for happy hour. It was crazy busy since the weather was nice, but our bartender... was the best one we've ever had (I think his name was Connor). Highly recommend - make sure you ask for Connor! Read more
We came as a group and enjoyed the best rooftop vibes anyone can ask for, locally. The food was an extra bonus. Our server was... very attentive as well. We all enjoyed the chips & salsa with a side of the rockin’ guac. It was very good while we waitedfor the rest of the food. The tacos were great, the corn tortillas did not fall apart with every bite. The al pastor taco wasthe favorite of the night, with the shrimp taco being a strong second. My friend ordered the chimichanga and openly admittedthat it was her second time ordering it after having it the day before. It was fried to perfection and the insides did not turninto mush. The signature salad and grilled fajitas salad were very filling! The portion was very large and a great healthyalternative. Surprisingly enough the Mas Buffalo wings were also pretty great! It was very dressed and fried so it was crispywith every bite! The frozen signature mas drink was so addicting, we ordered a second, and contemplated a third round! This is more of a complaint as a local. I hate to be lowering my review from 5 stars for my old favorite WC bar, but I can't... really see myself coming here as much. The tacos that used to cost me $10 just cost me $16. And were not up to par with theirold standards. Still good though. The food and drinks here are overall tasty, but I have watched the prices (for food anddrinks) increase a ton over the past 5 years without any quality increase. The deals used to be great in years past. The vibehas definitely been lost. But for new comers: the food is good and the roof top is great summer experience with a margarita inhand. Good luck Más! Had lunch with a friend on a Tuesday. Just us and two other groups but plenty of people stopped in to pick up take... out. Standard Mexican food in good quantities. Our server was very prompt and attentive. I imagine this place gets prettyhectic at nigh and on the weekends. Read more
Went here for a spur the moment dinner and my food and drinks were great! 3 tacos, a classic margarita and a blackberry... margarita. I'd recommend for sure. The only complaint I have is the refried beans on. My husband's plate were like water with nosubstance to them. Our server Cassidy was absolutely awesome!
