Another place that lies about its opening time. On the website it says 10 am but when i walked in after 10 the rude owner... snapped at me to get out and come back at 11 unless I was buying beer. I've had their pizza before and it was awful, figured Iwould give them another chance and try the cheesesteak but forget it not when you can't get your hours right and the ownersattitude is awful. Clearly something has changed at this place. I have been a regular customer for decades. A few weeks ago, got a chicken... cheesesteak. It had barely any cheese and was just ok. Yesterday, got a chicken cheesesteak and other items. The chickencheesesteak was so over cooked the meat was hard and I could not chew it, and again barely any cheese! I could not eat most ofit. The other stuff was just ok. Not going back ever again. I used to say these were the best cheesesteaks in town. Notanymore! Read more
Not bad I would of given them a five star but their cheese steak was better a few years back this time it was dry and I'm not... sure if there was cheese maybe one slice. It was okay nothing great. Maybe it was just the cook having an off day??????? Read more

Just had lunch there, small cheese steak, fries and a coke. Cheese steak and fries were very good. Sandwich was a good size,... more than enough for me. Cost $19.00. Food was real good, cost was outrageous. No prices listed on the menu board foranything except pizza. When I looked at the printed menu to verify the prices I was told the printed prices were outdated. Thefood was definitely good in my opinion you decide if it is worth it. Read more
I want to preface this review by saying I used to live in CT and I have eaten pizza in New Haven and throughout the state so I... had certain expectations based on the name. This is very far from what I would consider to be New Haven style pizza. Its veryrun of the mill ordinary pizza without a true identity. I'm not saying the pizza was awful nor inedible but I will say it tastedlike pizza I've had dozens of not hundreds of times in my lifetime from random pizzerias. Many people who go here given it'slocation probably won't have any elevated or specific expectation and they'll probably leave satisfied or indifferent, but as Iexplained this pizza isn't indicative of New Haven pizza one bit. If you've ever had Frank Pepe's or Modern then skip this spot.Otherwise give it a go. Its not good nor bad just average at best. The food was reasonably priced and the service was great Iwill say. Very friendly staff. Quick service. Clean toilets. Parking is very difficult because of construction in the area. The food was... very good. I had the pizza. They have everything that you can want for a small family style restaurant. I would definitelyrecommend. Read more
