Excellent barbecue at a reasonable price. They have a very efficient setup here too. You walk in, order at the counter, get a... number and wait for your food to be delivered. As an alternative, they also have a drive through as well. The staff is superfriendly and the BBQ is awesome! I especially like the mustard sauce they used on the ribs. Read more

Must say out of all the bbq restaurants I?ve been this is still one of my favorites! I also use to be a manager for Maurice?s... BBQ and as the years have passed I still find this bbq and sauce to be some of the best around! There hash and rice is to diefor and the coleslaw is amazing. The hushpuppies are great too! Seems like a really popular BBQ place and starting out the burnt ends were amazing! For the ribs though I was expecting more... with a sign saying the best. They were good smoked ribs, but a little tough. The sides were amazing though! The homemadecoleslaw was pretty unique, I think they have diced pickles in it that like really liked. Had lunch today at Maurice?s BBQ. It was delicious! Was it the Worlds Best as the sign claims? Not IMO, but I?m more of a TN... BBQ boy myself. Maurice?s is likely the best BBQ in South Carolina though. And I?ve had BBQ all over SC. We?re definitely goingback. I had pulled pork, Mac n cheese, fries, and hush puppies. My wife had fried chicken tenders (maybe the best we?ve everhad), fried okra, sweet potato casserole, and hush puppies. We can?t wait to try their chicken and ribs. Read more

So disappointed. Grew up on good southern bbq like maurice. The tiny amount of sauce provided was ridiculous.. good thing... I asked for extra.. which still was barely enough. I ordered the family deal. The hash was crazy greasy and too porky - ittasted unfinished... the rice was undercooked. Quite pleasantly surprised I picked up a burger from this place and it's one of the best burgers I've had in a long time with... the pimento cheese, onions, tomatoes and lettuce. No mayo, no ketchup, no mustard. That thing was the bomb only. Sorry I didn'ttake a picture of it. It was so good. I just ate it down and it's huge. Absolutely divine. Superb burger. My God there are too many things to choose between here! Ribs, chicken wings, quarter... chicken, hush puppies, beans, Mac n cheese, baked beans were soooooooo good!
