Went for the salad bar with my wife and kids...only 1 other person was in the restaurant!! We sat and waited at our table for... TEN (10) MINUTES and not one of the workers even came to ask if we were ready to order or if we had been waited on!! As we wereleaving the restaurant, the woman that sat us down just looked at us and smiled as she continued to play on her phone!! We have gotten into the habit of stopping here on our way back from Florida. This time we stopped on a Friday afternoon. Hardly... anyone there. Staff was very attentive and personable. On 8/18/21 at about 3 p.m. I went here to place a to go order. When I walked in, no one was at the front desk so I waited for a... minute, but no one ever came. I decided to go to the bar instead since that's usually where you place a to go and I decided Iwould get a drink while waiting for my order. There was already another patron at the bar so I figured the bartender would beback shortly. No one ever came. I tried instead to place my order online the coupon I was using said I had to do it in person orcall it in. So I tried to call in since no one was helping me. I watched the employee walk up, ignore the phone, take the moneyfrom the person sitting right next to me, look at me and walk away. I will never come back here again. Read more

Terrible experience. Wait staff was sitting at bar chatting with other people. Had to seat myself. Waited nobody came over. Got... up grabbed my own silverware from hostess stand and got the salad bar. Still no waiter/waitress. Finally after about 10 min awaitress but not to be seen again after. I got up and went to to go counter to pay and leave. The worst customer service I haveever seen. Hopefully someone reads the reviews since it sounds like this is a trend here. I have, in the past, enjoyed many good meals at Ruby Tuesday's in West Columbia. That was not my experience today. We waited at... the entrance desk about 8 minutes before even being greeted. Finally someone at the bar said seat yourself. We waited another 15minutes for a server to come to the table for our drink order. She informed us that she was the only server. It was another 10minutes to get the drinks. There were only 4 other seated tables. She kept waiting on them but fi ally managed to take ourorder. The food took forever to come to the table. The food was skimpy and scant. I had ordered the steak tacos. There were 4tiny cubes of meat on each of the tacos. The lettuce was brown and almost unrecognizable. The salad bar was empty and wasnever resupplied the entire time we were there. We decided to try a dessert. My sister ordered chocolate chip skillet with icecream. It came out with about a tablespoon of melted ice cream. My dessert wasn't any better. We tried to be patientwith the server. She was very exhausted and weary. The food was inexcusable. Food was hot fresh and the service was great as well. No idea they had soup and salad.
