I've eaten here 3 times. The food has been uniformly very good to excellent. The staff was attentive and friendly. It's clear... they are trying hard to make this place work and it shows. The only negative I have is that it's painfully loud in the diningarea. I could hear every word said 3 tables over, but had to strain to hear my partner's voice 2 feet away. Stopped by on a Sunday around 12:30. Brunch menu only, however they were out of many items (smoked salmon, certain breads). Our... food took over 45 minutes to arrive after ordering as we watched other people get seated and served after us. The BLT andavocado toast both looked good, but two burgers ordered medium-well were grossly undercooked. One had huge raw portions of meat.This is not an exaggeration. We both love steaks medium-rare (the way God intended) but not chopped meat. And for $18 no frieswith a burger, just greens? I was hopeful since the servers were nice, but the food and lack of attention from the staff whilewe waited were deeply disappointing. We won't be back. Read more

The Frank Food Company next to the river in West Cornwall, Connecticut is a miracle. Perfect in every way. We had the brined... chicken and I gotta tell you. THE best. We both devoured our meal, which included roasted sweet potatoes. Had too many Cosmos(full bar) but I wasn't driving. Ditto to everything people are writing. Frank (a charming man along with his staff) has foundhis niche. Kudos. The new neighborhood watering hole except that it is definitely NOT a hole. Read more
Edit: sadly lowering my review after a mediocre brunch. The avocado toast was not good. Let me preface by saying: I will go... back and give it another try! The service was perfect, friendly, genuine. However, I was very unimpressed / disappointed by theburger. No aioli or mayo (?) available and it desperately needed it. And a bun with more density (less soft). Burger perfectionis definitely an art. This missed the mark for me. The inside atmosphere is quite loud (but lively and fun). I had a hard timehearing others at our small table of 3. Frank is so energetic and friendly, and it shows in the energy of the space! I hope togive 5 stars next time. Read more
