I didn't read reviews until I was there so I wasn't sure how to order, meaning if we sat down and they came to us or we should... walk up to the front! We weren't greeted by anyone so we just stood there for a bit then figured out we order first and so on.My father wanted the chicken and waffles but they ran out of the chicken so he ordered the churro waffle and I ordered the tresleches waffle and we both had their cafe de olla. The café de olla was super sweet for my taste buds:( My father suggested Iadded creamer and it helped a little to cut down on the sweetness. As for my tres leches waffles it was good. It's not so big Ifelt it was the perfect size. Inside they have a few tables and the same for the outside. There is plenty of parking which is aplus! Maybe on another occasion we get to try something else :) Read more

I have had this place on my bookmarked list for a while and I?m happy I was finally able to visit. I ordered Cafe de Olla with... oat-milk, 50% less sweet- so good. I prefer my coffee hotter but this was good. They make the syrups in house, so it's authenticMexican flavor. I opted to dine al fresco and ordered the chicken y waffles- the chicken was a little more than well done butthe whipped butter on the waffles made up for it. The waffles were crunchy on the outside and fluffy inside with a hint ofcinnamon. I barely used the syrup that came in a small cup. Service was really nice and attentive. He came outside to check onthe diners. Upon learning that the chicken was over-cooked he offered to make me another plate, have me choose something else,or refund me for the dish. I said it was ok it was still good and I was eating it. I don't like wasting food but he insisted andsaid he will give the coffee on the house. Cool feature in the restroom is the "chalkboard" door for those who just have toshare their graffiti in public places. Read more

Staff was very friendly. Enjoyed the flavor and the coffee was also yum. Unassuming location, but worth the drive. There is... enough seating outside for four people. Read more

DO NOT COME. Because I will have to make line for the iced coffee :) Great ambience. Limited parking. They have inside sitting... but only two tables. Outside seating is widely available. Worker said the mocha loca is a must try or the caramelo iced coffee. They messed up our order so they just let us keep the extra drink. I included the menu for everyone Read more

Great Breakfast and Brunch spot in West Covina. The food was delicious, has large portions, and the restaurant itself has a... really great vibe with a friendly staff. We got the salsa verde chilaquiles and they were really tasty with some amazinghandmade chips. The west cochina burrito was also huge and had so much flavor, the braised pork was really tender and tasty. Myson, who is normally a picky eater, also absolutely loved the churro waffle. Right now they are doing a collab with EspressoCuts coffee, and the Benito iced coffee was just perfect. Highly recommend visiting if you are anywhere in the LA area, it?sworth driving to. Read more

Great little hidden spot. Came in because I LOVED the name. I ordered the Mexican Mocha with Oat Milk (sadly no nonfat, but it's... totally understandable as things cost money. Quite honestly, the oat milk gives it a whole different flavor which I prefer).Been here 3 times already and I know I'll definitely be back. They already knew what I liked by my second trip that I wassurprised it wasn't already ready when I went the 3rd time. Lol! The owner is sweet as are the girls working behind thecounter. I've yet to try the food but it's most certainly on my radar. I HIGHLY recommend them. Read more
