The 3 appetizers & 3 entrees we had this eve were nicely presented but both type of oyster apps were not enjoyed, the couch... fritters I had were good. The two of us that ordered scallops & langostinos, both had sandy scallops & overcooked langostinos,the risotto was ordinary. Not worth the price of $52. Had the oysters on the half shell as an app. Very good. For a main course I had the Rodolfo's scallops and scarlet prawns. Very... nice presentation. The scallops were cooked perfectly and the risotto was very good. Not a big fan of the Scarlett prawns. Ithink the dish would have been better with wild shrimp or a lobster tail. First time here and the previous reviews were a little confusing because of the name change but found out they re-branded last... summer and owner is the same. It is self parking, not valet like previous reviews suggest. The inside is beautifully decoratedwith great ambiance and clean restrooms. We brought our own wine but we found out they do have bottles and splits for sale at avery reasonable price. No cork fee for bringing your own. The New England clam chowder was outstanding and the fried calamariwas good, especially the spicy dipping sauce. My twin fried lobster tails, risotto and spinach were excellent, definitelysomething different. My wife had the NY Strip which was cooked perfect. The portions were not small by any means so not surewhy some previous reviews mention that. I forgot the name but the drizzled chocolate cake for dessert was excellent as well asthe chocolate lava cake, cheesecake and tiramisu. The espresso is also excellent. The service was outstanding and we werecompletely satisfied with our dining experience, can't wait to come back and experience the German menu. They do charge a 3.75%fee for using a credit card and a credit card is required to make a reservation but as long as you show up and pay cash, thereare no fees. Second visit update: We came back to try the German menu and were just as happy as our first visit. TheSauerbraten and Wurst Combo were excellent! I’m not sure what they add to the sauerkraut but it is exceptional. The crab andcorn chowder, special of the day, was also excellent. And of course the service was fantastic. We’ll be back soon….. Our experience was so amazing! I took my fiancé for his birthday and our server, Jake, really made the experience. He was... attentive, provided us with awesome recommendations, and even brought us a phenomenal dessert! For dinner we had the tuna andthe cod, both were delicious! We had by far the best experience at Otts Good Earth Garden. Everything was extremely fresh. From the appetizers to the entrees... to dessert, our expectations were completely blown out of the water. We are already planning our next night here. Our waitressJules was the most attentive and knowledgeable server we have had in YEARS. She truly made this experience even better.
