This place is always popping! It seems to be perpetually busy, but it holds a pretty central location and there aren't many... options within a short space. However, it meets or beat expectations! I like that they have the Redbox inside, good food,friendly service. Read more
So. I went to this store tonight as I do always around 12am-1am. Usually, I am greeted by a warm, kind older gentleman during... this time of the morning. During they day, there are handsome well groomed college age young men whom greet me and even engagein small talk about the weather or and even offer me matches. They are the best! Tonight/Morning I was not greeted with welcomebut rather COLD stares from a middle aged white guy who appeared to be more afraid of my 4'11 115 lbs stature, than I was of hiscold mugg. I purchased my items while he shook with fear and discontentment, obtained my receipt and walked out the door. Well,before I could make it in my vehicle (which was parked right at the front entrance) he came strolling out the door peering inmy vehicle from the sidewalk. He tried to look into my vehicle to see who was with me and I'm sure it was strange to see a blackwoman at the store alone on a Saturday night purchasing Aleive PM and A blue slurpie!! So, he stood and stared, I sat in myvehicle and slurpped......this went on for about 3 minutes and I just knew he would call the police to let them know (whatever,whatever, whatever). It made me feel horribly uncomfortable and I would not be surprised if this store will be gettingcomplaints in the future about this employee or even a lawsuit slapped on them because his contempt for blacks is obviouslyboiling to a point. So... I was in tonight around 3 A.M. no one was working. Literally not a soul was inside. I went and grabbed a water and waited... at the counter for about 5 min... no one in sight. I needed a pack of cigarettes as well. I had to go behind the counter. Igenerously left 9 dollars for a pack of newport reds and a 99 cent kum and go water. Pizza was delish! Took a little longer than quoted on the phone but they were nice about it.
I was using the restroom and employee walk in use the restroom and didn't even bother to wash he's hands.
