Everything is always delicious. If you aren't ordering the gyoza soup you are missing out. It is an addicting bowl of... deliciousness and the gyoza are amazing. I made a reservation at 7:30 and I waited until 7:55PM and could not get seated with a reservation. They didn’t want to seat... my family because the table was “close” to the front door. Looking around we saw 2 other tables had receipts out but thestaff did nothing to finish those tables to open them up. After making the decision to find somewhere else a representative ranafter us out the front door to try and get me back because SUDDENLY a table freed up. That being said the customer service wasawful, the restaurant itself is small and cramped, and there is no sense of urgency or priority for the customer here. There ismany many other sushi places in WDM I highly recommend anything other this place. It’s a waste of time. Read more
One might not think much of a small sushi restaurant nestled in a strip mall. It only consists of a few tables and a sushi bar.... However, the food is very nice. The lunch boxes are very reasonably priced and you get a lot of food for your value. Evenwith generous portions, they do not skimp on quality. The specialty sushi rolls are full of complex flavors. I am particularlyfond of the angry dragon roll. The hot food comes out of the kitchen piping hot, the sushi and salads come out cold. The decoris whimsical, even going as far as having Halloween drink specials. The servers are friendly and attentive. If you are lookingfor a quick lunch, a nice dinner, or even a meal after shopping at the nearby grocery store, this is the place to go. Read more
The best sushi in Iowa! Everything was fresh and beautifully made. The service was impeccable, and the owner was very attentive.... Prices were reasonable, at $3-3.50 per piece for sushi, and $14.95 for the roll. Tea was gratis. I will be back whenever I'm inthe Des Moines area! Read more
