Worst experience after my child graduated. Sat down to eat and within 10 minutes water accidentally spilled on us by our server.... Phone wet, rolls were soaked and we had to ask for new rolls. Then we sat and waited an hour and 15 minutes while our othertable was served. Finally got a manager over who wanted us to be grateful that she gave us 50% off after every one of our mealswas old and incorrectly cooked steak. Manager then offered a GM that come to find out was not in the building. The cook came outto smooth things over and be was the best and most level headed employee in the whole establishment. I would type more but myhands are shaking as I still sit here with the AC blowing on me with my wet clothes from the servers mistake. Read more

Usually I go to Johnston location, today tried their West Des Moines location. Had the Fort Worth steak with mushrooms. My steak... was burned and tasted very salty. It was on a Friday night, the place is packed. I love Texas Roadhouse steaks, usually thesteak is well seasoned and I don?t have to put any sauce on it or have problems finishing it. I couldn?t finish my steak, mymushrooms and steak were too salty. Chef must got a heavy hand today. The steak pictured is from Johnston location, I didn?twant to show the one from West Des Moines. Mouth-watering steaks, that were absolutely delicious! Perfectly cooked, & seasoned to perfection. I had the 8oz sirloin, with... the ribs. My bf had the ribeye (bone-in). Even the leftovers were great! Definitely recommend for a great steak dinner. Read more
Always gotta love the sit down experience at Texas Roadhouse. The atmosphere is great and the decorations are comical. A little... disappointed the waiter didn't notice it was my fiance's birthday when she got alcohol but that would have just been hilarious.I took a picture of my food because somehow through memeing I have become a food reviewer lol. Had a small wait for seating-their texting system worked really well. We shared the combination platter appetizer. Wife now... loves jalapenos. Split the country fried steak with fries-was delicious. Wasn't a huge fan of the smoked green beans though.Also ordered a side of grilled shrimp as an add-on, they were also very tasty. The bread and spiced butter was also addictive.Regular iced tea was great as well. Mark our server was very professional and took great care of us. The biggest con of thisplace for me is the country music????. Haha. Wont hold it against the restaurant. Great experience overall! Read more
With the help of a fantastic server, my experience at Texas Roadhouse was nothing short of sublime. First off, their rolls are... free. The cinammon butter is the best thing ever. The portions are GENEROUS and the prices are reasonable. The seasoned rice isa great side. FYI - Peanuts have been temporarily discontinued because of covid. Hope they're back soon! Read more
Normally I can't complain about this place. Tonight I went in close to 9 pm. I ordered a cocktail and it came pretty quick. I... ordered my meal (steak kabob - rare with a baked potato)at that time and my salad arrived shortly. I sat for a good 20 minuteseating my salad and waiting on my dinner. The waitress finally said she would check on my meal. She brought out a steak barelymedium rare and a mostly cold potato. The mostly melted butter wouldn't even finish melting. The waitress checked back and Itold her I would take a box if I was going to eat cold food I might as well eat at home. She quickly apologized and went totalk to the manager. Surprisingly they comped my meal AND gave me a voucher for my next meal. I left a little disappointed butlook forward to better food next time! Read more
